Doesn't everyone in BC smoke pot?
That's against the law too but nobody gives a shit.

So after collecting opinions and info in this thread, it looks like reviews can be incriminating.
The information required for them to collate information wouldn't be *that* difficult to obtain given the powers of LE institutions.
There are people that say that not mentioning prices or services would make them okay, but that also makes reviews themselves rather limited in usefulness.

I agree that the LE would probably not spend time and effort collecting and collating the information, but really that's not the worrying part. Unlike jaywalking, reviews remain, and will remain even beyond the life of this board. As other members have pointed out, Google has indexed and will continue to index this board. Even with the recent decisions on privacy and the "right to be forgotten" in the EU, these policies are not enforced outside of it.

So if there was a lazy LE who wanted some serious press time with just paper pushing, collecting, collating, and then making a statement it wouldn't be so far to imagine.

Stakeouts are extraordinarily expensive undertakings, easily running into low-four-figures per day, per location, mostly in overtime personnel costs. They are not generally accounted for in the regular budget, and so they must be approved on a case-by-case basis, vying for limited discretionary funds by weighting the severity of the crime alongside the likelihood of generating arrests. They are also unpopular among officers, as they are tedious affairs, hour upon mentally-exhausting hour spent trying to maintain awareness in a cramped space that increasingly smells of stale takeout and feet.

The average condo building is 15-20 stories, with 8-12 units each story. As we all know, rent/mortgages are exorbitantly expensive, so few people live alone, either living with a partner or a roommate. Plus guests, plus deliveries, plus whatever the hell else, there are hundreds of people in and out of these buildings each day. Cops are not telepaths (if they were, they would almost certainly find a far more lucrative use for their abilities, or at least be assigned to a higher-stakes case), and so have no way of telling who is and isn't there for nefarious purposes. More man-hours spent sifting through piles of almost-certainly useless "evidence."

This is why street workers or locations with storefronts and multiple clients at a time are most at risk. Even in jurisdictions with the desire to enforce, it's just not practical to re-allocate the resources necessary for an operation that might, at best, generate a handful of convictions. Better to go for the low-hanging fruit, get the occasional photo-op with the women you have just "saved," and then move on. Until the next election or scandal you need political capital for, then repeat.

If someone gets arrested leaving a "reputable" agency they might as well just lock the doors and turn off the lights.

Maybe just perb members who see none stop threads about this bill will be paranoid. Otherwise people who partake in this hobby who don't know about review boards will probably not know about this new bill because it will never be the top story of the news. Even before the bill there is a bit of paranoia seeing a "brand new" girl, so yes paranoia will be heightened once the law is full force. I'm not gonna be partaking in the hobby much more anyways not because of the new bill, but when I do it will be girls I've seen before or ones that have been around that I know are legit

I know, what is going on?? Everyday there is someone else writing about how paranoid they are. Definitely puts a damper on the (usually) fun Lounge vibe.
Amazing, all this paranoia 25 days before C-36 actually becomes enforceable law (Dec. 6th.)

I can't even imagine what all these paranoid pooners will do after Dec. 6 - when a lot of the activities we partake in today,--- will be deemed to be a criminal offence.

If you're reluctant just to use some common sense, and you get caught, ----- just put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

Me, I have access to about 30 numbers of ladies, most of whom I have seen, but also a couple I have not had the pleasure of meeting. So that could keep me busy for the next few years, allowing for lots of repeats. (And no, I don't have the numbers stored in my computer or cell phone).

Do you know HOW MANY police how many hours of photographs that would take. How many license plates.

Hey ultra paranoid freaks.

Park somewhere else Like abbotsford for a yaletown visit. Then take transit, then 3 different cabs and skytrain to get to where you are going. Stop at a Gas station and change into you Orthodox Jew Outfit/ costume. Go to the ladies incall take the elevator to the 3rd floor above the ladies residence. Walk down the fire stairs 2 floors then take the elevator down to the floor below. Then leave and take the stairs up one floor to her floor. Exit stairwell after changing into your second costume lets say a Pirate. Knock on her door softly. Check out the entire facility visually then sit on the couch for the first 15 minutes and say nothing. Go to the bathroom get changed into your ninja costume. Have moderately great sex then leave 5 minutes before the end of the session. to catch them off guard.

In your fourth costume of the day Aquaman. Take the elevator to the floor directly above the lobby. Walk down the stairs and out the back entrance. Now as aquaman done a mustache hat and glasses as to not attract attention. Walk to the Canada line take the Canada line to the airport where you will wait exactly 5 hours. then you will book a flight to Kelowna. Stay overnight in Kelowna. Change into another hastily constructed costume of Jeans and a Tshirt. Then fly back to abbotsford. Change you seat places 7 times before you board. Use the alias Charlie Q Chaplin.. As you approach your car. Immediately turn around and book a rental car. Go home wait 3 days. return the rental car to another rental agency. Then take 14 different cabs back to your vehicle. Upon arriving back at your vehicle drive to the local police station and turn yourself in.. because you've been caught.

Or you could just be aware of your surroundings. Check reviews, see SP's that you know and who you trust. If it looks to good to be true, and things aren't verified. IT usually is. and Smarten up. Don't be in places that are likely to be targeted like AMPs. (human trafficking). Play safe Play smart.

The RCMP and other local police has only so many members. being paranoid isn't helpful. Just be smart.
OMG Badger, thanks a lot. I had fresh panties on when I started reading this and during I peed in them from laughing so much. I vote this to date the funniest post of the year. Now I am going to swing through my water falls and return to my bat cave. Don't forget guys to knock three times and say the password "MILF" when you come to my door.

Self-incriminating reviews

Even before C-36, there were self-incriminating reviews.

I recall a well-respected member confessed that during a threesome he committed a crime covered by Criminal Code section 159 subsections (1) and (3) a.k.a. "anal intercourse".

You see, Canadian law generously allows that activity between two consenting adults in private. But mere presence of a third person makes it illegal, see subsection (3)(a).

There were even threads confessing similar atrocities done by a group. Those are aptly named "gang bangs", because Canadian law would look at that as a gang activity.

"Anal intercourse" can be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years. So it is a more serious offence than purchase of sex in C-36.

So, anal is illegal under the Criminal Code. That one is a bit surprising to me, but really, how many cases have you heard of regarding people getting convicted for having anal sex? I don't think it is a big risk.

Nor do I think we are much at risk with reviews on this or any other board. What level of resources are the police, in conjunction with the CSIS, going to put into linkomg aliases to IP addresses and then connecting them to visits to specific SPs. There is a level of paranoia in those assumptions that I'm not going to consider. The police don't have the resources to go to that level unless there is a more serious crime involved. As long as you stay away from underage providers or child porn rings, you should be okay. If they are going to pursue anything, it will be the low-hanging fruit. Not something they need a major intelligence operation to root out. It ain't a good use of taxpayers money.
