I get a kick out of the "very friendly people". The guy looks like he would be someone you really want to get naked and vulnerable around. Suspect your kidneys would end up in a Styrofoam chest on ice within ten minutes of arrival.


Anyone else got a good advert that they feel could not possibly be taken seriously?

Brilliant actually. You seem to have a victim complex and only notice the negative. Is it an age thing? Even with my posts - look at Nila post for example. Look at all the good things in life and smile a bit!

Feel great and thanks for asking! Also thanks for posting examples of exposing issues for what they really are. It takes a lot of time/effort for someone to show they care about my efforts that much - I am impressed I have a fan!

My handle there was too close to one already in use here.

I get back all the time as still have property, family and business ventures to attend to. Came here to buy up some real estate while the rates are so historically low. Have found some great deals in the valley and already flipped three different projects. Unreal how many people from outside of Canada will buy without putting much effort into the original elbow work (e.g. cleaning up a property, doing some renos etc.....). I think someone can readily make an easy 25% plus gain on many properties here in Lower Mainland in less than six months. Have a retirement plan to and expect to by about 40.


Thread thoroughly hijacked now. I assume that must mean you don't find the original advert at all creepy.

The guy looks like Harry Rollins on crack and on day parole from his most recent hard to prove (no body found) suspected murder case. Still cannot believe the ad was serious let alone anyone would respond.
