Fraud SP/Micro Thread

I have a proposal for moderators to create a special thread in "Escort Reviews" section. Any reviews of known scammers (SPs and micros) should be posted in this thread only. If a review is posted in a "normal" thread, it should be moved to the "fraud" one by moderators ASAP. By scammers I mean those SPs/micros which post fake pics, deliberately do B&S, do not provide services listed in their ads, list incorrect rates, etc.

The reason why I am suggesting this is due to a very sad fact that many pooners still play childish B&S game no matter how many times they get burned, and keep patronizing scammers with fake pictures. Obviously they are entitled to play any games they wanna play, but it may be a good idea to separate any activities related to fraud to make it less confusing for those pooners who would like to avoid scam SPs.

I don't see any value in "positive" reviews of scam SPs: even if a particular pooner got lucky, the review is likely useless as any other pooner may experience the opposite. So lets create a sandbox for "kids" to play with their "scam" reviews - at the same time their games should not interfere with serious "adult" pooners.

So, moderators, any feedback? The situation with "scam" reviews is really getting out of control and indirectly promotes proven scammers.

Isn't this what the "Neighbourhood Watch" section is for?
Isn't this also what the general review boards are for?

I can understand the frustration of having to deal with scams or bait and switches but the search function really is a man's best friend (sorry puppies). I get the thrill of the TOFTT and trying to find uncovered gems but I do think the rule of "if its too good to be true" really does apply here.

ahh, a regulatory, protect the consumer from themselves structure.

Why stop there, why not bring in the FDA and Health Protection Branch and have everyone screened for STD. Better yet, have the consumer products agencies who police false advertising come in as well.

This is a community site of volunteer subscribers and posters sharing their unfiltered thoughts and experiences. As such it will fall short of other sources of media which have formal qualification of content, or performance. Members do their own filtering and good judgement when reading reviews and posts. Not sure we need further filtering here as we are all adults with a range of education and life experience.

There is an informal peer review process which goes on here with respect to people's experiences and in most cases tolerance for the wide range of opinions and experience levels.

Normally the truth about a provider comes to light over a series of posts, service levels can be assessed and preferences can be established albeit subjectively. Market is driven by value and different demographics gravitate to different choices.

B&S happens, sometimes you are pleasantly surprised by the switch, most of the time we are irritated by the lack of respect for our time. What are you going to do, re-educate every out of country provider as to our culture? Folks from other countries do things differently than we do here. Comes with the diversity of selection.

Furthermore, there is no law against someone making a bad (or what you consider bad) choice and voicing their thoughts or experience on it. Good, bad or otherwise.

Suggest if you don't like it here you move on to another site or drop the hobby. What you think you are trying to fix is unfix able.

Not that I have all the answers, but am entitled to an honest opinion. Suggest you let people contribute their opinions without ragging on them for supporting what you are against.

Pure genius! Have a section called "Scam Reviews" so all the scammers know where to post.

As far as I understand, cheating and stealing have always been condemned by any sane person in Canada (maybe BC is an exception?). It is absolutely irrelevant if scam SPs are of domestic or overseas origin. They do their business in Canada. Even if cheating and stealing is their culture, that's their problem - they won't find any understanding or acceptance here. If some pooners prefer to patronize and promote scam SPs on this forum, this is disrespectful to those pooners (majority I hope) who would like to exclude scammers from their pooning experience altogether. Scam SPs should be ignored and boycotted for our own benefit. Since the government arrogantly refuse to regulate the industry and penalize crooks, at least this forum could do this job to a degree.

Scam SPs are clearly identifiable - no confusion here: fake pictures, deliberate B&S, lie about rates and services provided. I believe it would be very reasonable to move anything related to obvious scam to the appropriate section. If any pooner is interested in dealing with crooks, he can still use the search to find what he needs. For all others any search result in 'fraud' section will be a clear sign to ignore them and save their time, money and dignity.

It is not that simple: everyone is free to post in any section, that's why "scam" reviews posted in the wrong section should be moved to the "fraud" one - only moderators can do that.

You seem to not have much support for your concept - which I really like. If this was a section, that would be great!

good concept - in theory

but what about the false reviewers, the slanderers that claim b&s, lying about age, etc.?

maybe a competitor, maybe a pissed off troll, maybe some high school kid wanting to make trouble, maybe a jealous wife that wants to create problems for the escort that 'stole' her family's money - there are MANY slanderers that have membership here and post false negative reviews all the time

now you're asking the mods to sort through all this bs and make a decision as to which poster is a real pooner and which is a slanderer?

i can't see it working

this is one of the last remaining unregulated markets that we have, and with it comes a sort of wild west show. the saying 'caveat emptor' especially applies... and woe be to the pooner that does not 'beware'

It is very easy to deal with your concerns: B&S can be established by multiple reviews from different pooners. Obviously new users posting negative reviews contradicting positive reviews from seasoned Perb members have low credibility. Once in a while we have shills on this forum which are detected on the spot. We can definitely filter any negative fake reviews with the same level of success.

Fake pictures are so obvious that I don't think we'll have any trouble figuring it out either...

Moderators, please take action - the situation is really getting out of control: some pooners openly advertise scam micros. https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthrea...-9287-New-(Chinese)-GFE-Gem-in-Richmond/page3 This causes other pooners to lose money not mentioning the abuse they experience.

I can't be sure if scam micros are advertised by shills or just out of utter stupidity, but I believe it is against the purpose of the existence of this forum.
