I'm probably not in the best mindset to be posting anything right now, but I'm going to do it anyway because I'm fed up with the line crossing that some men have been trying to pull lately.
I've been going through some stressful times in my personal life in the last couple of weeks. It's ongoing, and I don't want to share what it is, because like I said, it's personal. It's not "Cameron Diablo", it's the actual person behind her, and that person is fairly guarded when it comes to sharing information with virtual strangers. Sorry to temporarily step out of character here, but I'm upset enough to do so.
Here's my issue...when an SP tells you a specific time, it doesn't mean 5 minutes before. It doesn't mean 20 minutes after the scheduled time, either. It doesn't mean when you get to the neighbourhood if it's early, if your meeting ending early, if there's traffic, whatever. It also goes for your prolonged orgasm or because we are having a great conversation about something. I'm going to be vulgar here, but if you don't get to the MSOG portion by the end of our pre-determined date time, I'm not going to fuck you for free for an extra 20 minutes. I know it's considered polite in other situations where an appointment is booked, but it has been stressed on these boards by pretty much every SP. There's a reason we charge by the hour. Timing means a lot in this business. I'm just blown away by people who show up early, or would like me to keep a specific block of time open, like I'm waiting for the cable guy. No, I cannot keep a half hour open for you to show up at 5:30...ish. Would it be ok if the situation were reversed, and your favourite SP showed up in your life a half hour early? Late? Followed you home to your family because she hadn't cum yet?
I'm sorry to come across as harsh, but it makes me feel taken advantage of when something as simple as timing can't be followed, and when my emotional state is already fragile, keeping in character for extra time is sometimes really, really difficult. Most of people use smartphones, and even with different carriers or brands, the clock is already set to the same time as everyone else's. When someone arrives early, not only am I still dealing with the last touches of prep (which are for your benefit in the first place), it gives the impression that you view our time together as a casual, which then leads me to worry about how much earlier next time might be, or if you will cross other lines. I know there is a large population of men out there who view our jobs as SPs as easy, or even lucky. I agree, wholeheartedly. I love that I'm able to be in this line of work, and I love that I am able to completely be self-sufficient like I would never be able to do in any other job I would qualify for, and even a lot that require a higher education. But please keep in mind that escorts charge the rates they do because it's a job or career that takes a strong sense of character to be in. Even SPs that start their rates below other's still make more than a woman would in most other jobs. It can take a lot out of you to step into the right frame of mind and stay there when everything in your life may not be the most amazing.
I'm sure there will be people who believe that's part of the job, and I should shut up, and I agree. Which is why I'm bitching about the time. I do shut up for the time we booked. SPs keep up our end of the deal for the time we agreed upon. Please respect that, and remember that we are human beings with feelings and lives outside of our alter egos. We need to give ourselves some extra love sometimes, too.
