Posting Positive Reviews

I was reading a review this morning and noted the following question was put to the reviewer:

Thanks for the review Badger as always.
Just curious though have you had any bad or just average experiences, all of them are glowing with close to 10's all around.
Not that I don't believe you but the only one I recall is where you got stood up by xxxx xxxxxx, other than that?

Rather than carry on with another Perb Thread Derailment, I thought I would post up here in the Lounge and see what you Peeps are thinking.

Generally speaking when I go to see a lady whether for the first time or it may be my 20th time, I summon all the positive energy I can muster by the time I knock on her door.

Overall having a positive, fun, let's make each other happy attitude has worked well for me. Sometimes not, sometimes there isn't really a connection, sometimes I just chalk it up to experience that in my research there probably wouldn't be a great connection but I went ahead with booking the date regardless. I don't do negative reviews if the experience was sort of meh. YMMV is the operative description.

Now if a negative review was ever required it would probably be along the lines of fake pics, bait and switch, little or no service rendered etc etc.

I think that by participating in this hobby it has given me a lot of happiness. I have met a lot of fantastic confident women who not only look great but also bring a lot to a date besides the sexual part.

I think the women whom I have reviewed do deserve positive reviews.

I only post positive reviews on my local board. If I'm traveling I'll share the bad experiences as well. In response to my posting preferences, the moderator had this to say.

"Your posting preference is up to you and we welcome all reviews positive or negative. There are some advantages to posting negative reviews. First of all just because you had a negative experience doesn't mean that the SP is all bad. She might have had a bad day or you might have a certain preference that she couldn't live up to. YMMV and not all people click for whatever reason. There is also the counter side which is that maybe she's just a bad SP. There might be other guys with similar feelings about posting negative reviews but might be more willing to post something if someone else starts off. These review boards are valuable for finding the ladies with fantastic service and great looks but it also helps the guys avoid the really bad ladies who are only out to make a buck and don't give a darn about your experience.

By posting all your reviews (good and bad) it also helps paint a picture of who you are and it also helps flesh out the other guys when they respond with their comments. Most of the time it leads to nothing but other times it's very telling."

I referred to this board before I decided to visit an sp I've only seen 10 girls so far and did a bit of research on each except for one. That one turned out to be my only bad experience which I wrote a review about why is was bad for me. The thread got hijacked with a lot of bickering about prices, but there were some comments that said some guys would've maybe enjoyed what I thought was a bad session. There are also positive reviews of women that I've chose not to see because she may not be my type etc

I personally enjoy the Badgers reviews and comments,i think he has a lot of great reviews because he does his homework and research on the ladies before he books.Since I am fairly new to this world I have learned a few things from his posts.We have seen some of the same girls,and we do differ on some views.but that is what makes this industry interesting.Keep up the good work Badge.

I agree I enjoy the Badger reviews. I only use this forum to avoid thieves and scammers. If he were to endure a person of less than admirable qualities I am certain he would warn us. For me the positive reviews are subjective but protect us from trouble. His experiences narrow the field and for that I am appreciative.

I ignore positive reviews that are glowing unless the reviewer has a track record. I find negative reviews of value as it provides a warning and a balance. I will still see someone if it is a "click" issue with the negative as I have had really good luck clicking with most (perhaps being younger helps, I don't know). However, people who get scammed etc. and don't post but are regular posters are actually, in my own opinion, being quite unfair to the guys on the site. Just my opinion.

I think waiting 24 hours to post a review often has the effect of moving it away from extremes. Reflection for a time before posting seems to improve the value of the review.

I don't generally set out to write a positive or negative review. I try to write balanced reviews: what worked for me, what didn't, what positive aspects there were and what might be red flags for others. Unless it's an outright scam there generally are clients out there for whom what bothered me about the session or the SP are either unimportant of something they might be looking for.

A review that says the lady can orally peel chrome may be a real positive for some fellow where the more sensitive may want to give her a pass. I tend not to be drawn to the short, or the skinny (2 apples on a stick) or for the young ones so older, taller & at least some substance tend to be positives to me whereas others are drawn to other things. All else aside, most people care about the effort the SP puts in: the investment in your enjoyment. Few care for the ladies that mail it in & most appreciate the ones that are trying, even when the session looks like it went sideways on them. Work ethic goes to character.

I also don't really have a 'type' that I see so I try to be fair and comment on what I saw as pluses and also any potential minuses.

I don't go in thinking review but more about having fun.

If that happens and if I perceive it was mutually enjoyable, I may offer to post a review.

If it's "meh" then I move on. No ones fault and generally accepted as an ok date but not a toe curler. It happens time to time. Who wants to read a review about that? Not me. It's not my fault nor the SP's that it wasn't a Rock Star event. It takes two with chemistry and a great attitude to get there IMHO.

Being myself, being a giver of energy as well as a receiver seems to serve me well.
