Orphan Black's season premiere (referenced above) yesterday was simply awesome. I have a feeling they were given a bigger budget because of their success last year.

Absolutely the best Canadian TV series ever. And, Tatiana Maslany is going to end up a big star, and we will have to learn how to pronounce her name.

Penny Dreadful

Premieres this Sunday. Here, it'll be on Movie Central or HBO Canada -- I've seen that trailer on one of those anyway. I also noticed that the first ep is already on Video on Demand for subscribers but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Tonight! In about 10 minutes here actually. And it is indeed on Movie Central (HBO Canada has Silicon Valley and Veep at that time). Anyway, I'm logging out now to go settle in for the premiere.

This is on FX right now and will repeat at 8:15 Pacific. My PVR is currently recording and I'm going to log off to go watch pretty soon. Some of the commercials that I've seen previously were more intense than this one but it's what I could find on YouTube from a seemingly official FX Canada channel there:

I believe that some producers of Homeland are involved in this one.

The last episode "Possession" was one of the scariest portray of possession that I have seen since The Exorcist. Loving this show, only one episode left. A tour de force for Eva Green...

Just finished Orphan Black Season 2, love the twist at then end with "Castor". Expanding the clone universe I guess. An acting clinic put on by Tatiana Maslany!

True Blood final season started last Sunday. Can you say: Sookieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

As honda already mentioned in another thread, The Strain starts on FX tonight. Also of note, Season 2 of Ray Donovan begins tonight followed by the season 2 premiere of Masters of Sex (I believe they are both Showtime shows in the US -- I get them on Movie Central... and you downloaders will get them however you get them )

I have not watched yet. Too many conflicts schedule wise so far and it hasn't really piqued my interest particularly. But I'm always interested in reading any opinions that might make me change my mind

Next week will be the season finale. The show is basically about life after a rapture like event, during which 2% of the world's population just disappeared into thin air. It's a bit of a slow burn and quite bleak but I am starting to warm up to the show or maybe I'm just looking for another mind fuck to replace Lost...
