Ever received a random, nasty text from a stranger?

I got one yesterday afternoon.

It simply said "fuckyou" and was signed with a female name.

I didn't recognize the number nor the person's name who signed it.

I replied "who is this?" No reply.

I googled the number and its a Wind phone. I did a search on Perb, ERS and BP but came up empty.

All I can think is it is someone who has an issue with someone whose cell number is somewhat similar to mine.

Or its someone who is just screwin with me. Or someone who has gone off their meds :nod:

Pretty sure its not an SP I have seen before because most of them welcome me back. LOL

lol .. I have actually had a few .. i tend to answer them back .. but i mess with them .. it can truly be entertaining ..

I also do that all the time with telephone solicitors .. i pretend im a Chinese food restaurant with very bad English and try to take their order .. i don't care what they say either.. i just try and take their food order ..
lol .. it sure does feel great when they hang up on you .. and probably the only time you will have a smile a mile wide from a telephone solicitor calling you ..
Unless your my buddy , he calls his 5yr old.. hands him the phone, and tells him its Batman

I've only done it on three occasion and I copied what Seinfeld did on one of his episode.
I would tell the person on the other line that I'm busy at the moment and if they would give me
their number that I would call back. they say they don't do that and I tell them
'Now you know how I feel' and hang up.

When people attack a great guy like you—or me—we can be sure of one thing: it's largely emotional displacement.

Many people carry a large pool of stored sadness and frustration in their psyche and will find all sorts of excuses to discharge these emotions, by getting upset with almost anyone about almost anything.

My rule is, never let some grump or sourpuss trigger me. Instead, let their attitude make me feel even more grateful I'm me and not them.

I used to get drunk dialled in the middle of the night like 3 or 4 AM. (Now my phone is always on Silent at night). It was usually exactly that some drunk who would babble away incoherently for as long as I could tolerate it.

What I would always do the next morning is call them repeatedly until they answered the phone and say in my LOUDEST Robin Williams Voice from Good Morning Vietnam and say "Good Morning you MoFo!"
