why i prefer not to accept advance bookings

You were justified in taking his money and giving him lousy service after that wait.oh he is definately on the do not see list !
but i think 200 for a few minutes of attitude and lackluster service was quite generous
i told him if i had half a mind at that hour i would have simply taken the money and shown him the door

I just received an advance booking for May 26th, from a local gentleman, whom I've exchanged a few e-mails with in the last month or so. When I asked him to arrange a phone call with me, he did. I have no doubt whatsoever that that appointment will hold.
Advance bookings are just fine. It's the circumstances and the pre-game preparation that makes all the difference. Just saying...

it just happened again last week....made an advance booking with a VERY well known perbite from out of town . no show no call no email no answer. he was also online when i sent a pm to which i received no response. and this was for an over nighter. i had booked a driver , a dogsitter, took the day off work

That does suck (and not in a good way), so sorry to hear it!
he had also booked a lengthy appt with ms erica for the same day and the same thing happened to her
FFS! That is insanity! A very well-known perbite from out of town? Is he a little older? Maybe he had an Alzheimer's episode? That is just terrible, so sorry to hear it, ladies. Perhaps a pm is in order, so I can avoid this well known idiot?! Grrrrr
Just terrible, you ladies don't deserve that kind of disrespect (well, no one does but you get my drift)!
I'm not trying to defend anyone, but showing online here is not an accurate way to see if the person is actually online. I find the cookies this board sets to show online status can sometimes be up to 2 hours old. That means he could have been on the board 2 hours earlier and long since turned off the computer.

I don't know...I had the impression he was in his 40s, judging by his over ten years posting, 100+ girls reviewed, and an opinion that counts more than anyone else's...
