CBC tonight: Female sex tourism in Cuba

There are quite a few places where Female Sex Tourism takes place. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_sex_tourism I think that CBC did a documentary on Thailand some time ago. I know a woman that goes to Jamaica often.
yup...rent boys...hustlers as they prefer to be known....no even factored into the conservative criminalize prostitution plan.....

You're so right. There is definitely a double standard.If these had been men, they'd be labelled scumbags. But these are just women looking for 'love'..
Back in the 90's I was contracting with 2 different government agencies/crown corps.
There were 2 older women (mid 50's) who would openly speak about their "adventures" when they went on their annual winter vacation to Jamaica or Trinidad and how they would pay young local men for their "companionship". They would joke among the other ladies of how they needed to take a couple of days to rest when they got home before returning to work as they were exhausted from so much sex.
All the women and some of the men would sit around and laugh at their stories, ask questions and even make rude comments about the men these women would hire.
Needless to say I never heard anyone say anything negative about what they were doing.
I didn't involve myself because I was only there a short time and overseas most of that time.
Even then I did wonder what the reaction would have been if 2 men in the office were openly discussing their "trip" to Thailand.
