Do some research. Look at what Christy Brinkley actually looks like...She is clearly wearing makeup, yes, and she might even colour her hair! She is also an amazingly beautiful woman, and if you can HONESTLY tell me, UhOh, that THAT is not a beautiful woman, you clearly have some deep-seated issues around attractive older women...I read some interesting (though less than amazing) research the other day. According to a major university (I don't have the citation at hand, but someone will find it; it's on CNN.com) study, people who act like trolls on the Internet are, overwhelmingly, trolls in real life.

(In my next life, I want to grow up to be a university professor who gets paid to write grants to fund studies for that type of research.)

Obviously see isn't your average 60 year old but if you think her appearance in a professionally done photo shoot is how she actually looks then you are delusional

I don't think everyone who doesn't share my opinion is an troll. There are many people here whose opinions I frequently disagree with, and choose to keep my mouth shut because they are as entitled to their own opinions. As are you, in fact, as guaranteed in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the US First Amendment.

I also never called you a troll directly, but I find it fascinating that you self-identify as one.

And now, friends and adored ones, I'm going to continue doing the yoga stretches that allow me, at 48, to stand with my hands on the floor between my feet. Then I lift my right leg up slowly and balance it on my partner's shoulder. Don't I, Mellow? How tall are you? How close was I? I am not sure I could reach hiddencloud's shoulder (he's awfully tall!) but I'd like to try.

Actually it was three universities: UBC, University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.
You probably have a better quality of life now than being a university prof. The competition is crushing with huge numbers of un/underemployed PhDs fighting for the few jobs that are available, ivory tower politics, and the average work week for an academic now apparently at 77 hours. And you don't have to grade unrelenting waves of semi-coherent student papers from people who shouldn't be there.
