I know there are those of you who know what I mean! Thick, coarse curly (and in my case LONG!) hair that just does whatever you want UNLESS you baby it like crazy!
Case in point: this morning I got up, walked the dog, showered, conditioned my hair, rinsed. Out of the shower, apply leave in conditioner, wrap my hair to keep the curls nice. Blot dry. So far so good.
Noon arrives: so does lovely new guest! After a 90 minute romp, the bedhead was something to behold! I looked like a troll doll that had been left out in the rain and then dragged through a hedge backwards! (but the gent left smiling..!) So...apply more conditioning oil while flat iron/curling iron heat up. 60 minutes later, hair is 'naturally styled' long and straight.
Now as long as I don't get it wet until the sun comes out again, I'm good! Otherwise...(sigh)
