Recently, a special friend and myself were joking around. Somehow, the topic of Wonder Woman came up and I told her that I thought she would make a good Wonder Woman (I don't believe I'm giving anything away as I'm almost certain that she doesn't surf this site). As these things go, I joked that if she got herself a Wonder Woman outfit, she'd be a big hit with the comic book geek types. She joked that I should buy her one so that she could model it for me.
So, I've been looking at options. I'm not crazy about the handful of Wonder Woman "costumes" that I'm finding online. Each one seems to have elements that are right but other elements that are wrong. And DC is officially licensing some of these. You'd figure that they would know better than to add a cape! Unfortunately, the "costume" style ones that I've found come with a skirt and I was hoping to find one that has the "star spangled panty" style bottom. Classy Angel used to have some pics with a Wonder Woman costume. I liked the panties of her costume, although the corset piece on hers didn't look right to me.
Anyway, I'm getting a little off topic and distracted by the idea. I've found a couple of more streamlined "lingerie style" outifts that I like. One was listed as a "Youth Cut" and there were complaints in the comments section that even then the sizes were too small compared to what they should be. Two that I really like are noted to be "listed in junior's sizes" or as a "junior's fit is a teenager's/young woman's fit" (which is odd cuz they look like sexy adult outfits).
When I made some mention that I didn't want to guess at sizing, my lady friend joked about needing a "large" for her booty and a small for her top. I guess she might not have been joking about the large for her booty. She is a tall, curvy woman. And yes, she is quite curvy in the hips with a very full, beautiful booty. Her bum is on the big side but in a very shapely, pleasing way
And she is definitely not small on top! She's actually pretty fit and busty. Probably not as curvy up top as her hips but I don't want to guess.
So... any thoughts? Do you think a "junior's fit" Large would be okay? One of the ones that I like is at a reasonable enough price that I'd be willing to get it for her just to see if it would fit (Plus, they have some cool Batman shirts that I kind of want for myself and I figure it would all be part of one order anyway
)
I've been finding more while I was writing this... I just found a really nice "Frederick's of Hollywood" one... Hmmm... maybe I should keep looking...
If anyone knows anywhere locally that I might find a decent one, I'm open to suggestions. I did check Dare to Wear today. The one that I thought was the better of the two they had on their website was sold out. I didn't like the one they had left at all...
