On my computer I just do ctrl & shift to get the accents. Then shift and the corresponding key.

If she just wants to add an accent into an English-language paragraph she's writing, it's much easier to memorize the alt-codes for the most common accents (only about 10 of them)

Erica if you're using a PC, the alt-codes you're going to need will be between 130-163

OR if you're lazy like me, just type the word without accents into a toolbar then copy the accented version from your search results!
