ITS COLD
The End.
One reason for that Ms Sarah is that there is so much moisture in the air here when it's cold that -5 here feels comparable to -25 at a higher and drier location! I've lived in the lower mainland my entire life, although I did do graduate studies in Calgary where I experienced -40 for the first time. The difference is that here the cold soaks into your bones; how do you layer for THAT?I've lived and worked in regions of Canada where -40 was a normal winter day, but after being here for a year and half, I'm already so spoiled that -5 feels unbearable, lol.
I've learned to tolerate winter, but I don't think I'll ever be able to say that I love it - because I HATE WINTER!
Winter is beautiful..hiking up a steep, snowy and tall mountain allows for the perfect holiday season
okay Alex, where is this from? Am I reading it right? Little - No precipitation in January and February with extreme cold in January as well? That ain't Vancouver!
