What a fight Silva vs Hunt

Love it when both fighters are so gassed that the fight becomes slow motion. Lots of back and forth - great fight !
far from a technical masterpiece, but just for the entertainment of seeing two big tired guys both with good chins swinging away aimlessly it was entertaining. i think silva may have been saved in the 5th round when he was wobbling around and the stupid ref paused the fight to look at silva's cut just cuz of the blood. you can't stop a fight at a critical moment like that. killed hunts momentum. funny how they hugged to start the round, then just started wailing away again. no doubt cuz of the draw, their will be a rematch on a pay per view card sometime this summer, where more people will see it now that it has some selling value domestically instead of just australia.
I really can't think of a better fight in the HW division. Maybe when Couture took out Silvia. But that fight didn't really have momentum changes, it was just fun watching an old man beat up a guy so much bigger, who was the world most boring champ.
I guess rematch in summer, I assume both will get medical suspensions with their cuts.
