Deb Hope's looks are meh, but the worst part is she is completely inept, and has been for years. I don't know how she keeps her job. She makes more errors, stumbles over more words and mis-pronounces more names and places than anyone on television outside of Bum Fuck, Arkansas. In a major market, on the highest rated news show it is a mystery and embarrassment. Just watch and listen. She can rarely complete a story without stumbling.

TV News people these days are for the most part better looking (relatively) people who can read well enough to other people. Not quite good enough actors to make it in entertainment. Not quite good enough journalists to remain behind the scenes digging up actual stories. You don't even need to go through a journalism program to report the weather.
