Iirc from what susie has said in the past they do not do sting operations for indoor sex workers, however the have been known to setup johns who are soliciting outdoor sex workers.

thats true vanessa. prostitution between consenting adults is not illegal in canada. they do raid parlours sometimes like what's happening in calgary right now, but in vancouver, we have a non enforcement policy with the vpd so not much to worry about here unless there's exploitation occuring....

What i have heard from some girls... there still is some harasement .. and threats... from LE.. when girks work indapendent... and with out licenses...
And tbere all so seem to be more of a push to catch the girl selling drugs.. to clients..
and then coursing and threatening. and I an attempt to turn them into informers
prostitution is one charge they attempted to use against them..

The question is whether there is enforcement or not. But it is possible for a provider and customer to completely abide by all laws. It's just a little difficult not to colour outside the lines.

where, in vancouver? if this is really happening, i would love to hear more. inside the city of vancouver, no worker should fear charges under the prostitution laws......
