My personality is a lot like a dog's. I like to eat, hump, play and occasionally sniff people's bums. Aside from my oft-obscure intellectual interests I am a simple, friendly thing that shoots from the hip and has to constantly remind myself that people can be manipulative.

I've seen enough of them though, and know how damaging they can be. Myself, I was conjectured to be a witch when I was in junior high who was rumored to start bibles on fire with my eyes. They'd make cross signs at me in the halls and one weird Fundamentalist chick would throw holy water at me...thinking I'd melt or something... They actually believed I was a magical being that could suspend the laws of physics and cause things to set on fire...wow...pretty fucking cool when I look at it that way....

There are 2 types of rumors, one is tactical; as in, "To either fuck you over or help myself, I'm going to spread shit about you that I don't know is true or not." This is a malicious, intentional type of manipulation intended to cause harm. Not awesome or rad in any way.

The other is more of a "Stuff out of mouth" rumors which are the proverbial feathers cast to the wind gossip. Often times this is how the original malicious bit of gossip takes hold and grows. Even if the original fuck-over rumor is proven false, the "stuff out of mouth" has already taken hold of the wind and spread too far to ever bring back. It's the "Rod Stewart had a lb of spunk pumped out of his stomach" rumor, here to stay forever.

It's also done all the time, everywhere, in families, at work, and on this weird new semi-reality which can seem more real than actual reality thing called the internet.

I'm only thinking about this because a lady (hotness and coolness this woman...wow) on here sent me a text about how I forgot to invite people to my party and I was all like huh??? Of course everyone can come to my parties, especially total sweethearts.

Anyways, it made me think about how all of us, especially SPs, who have a really good portion of society against us anyways ( it is society that is wrong, but that's the reality) should stick together and help each other at least by being cool and supporting each other. :)

Be nice. I know it's a controversial position, but there you have it.

Rumours are an interesting thing. I was told a story about a fellow SP. I asked other SPs if the rumour was true and no one said it wasn't. But to this day I still feel bad about saying something, anything, as it seems the whole issue was blown out of proportion. WHeN I tried to set the record straight, it only made the matter worse.

I agree with you when you say, we "should stick together and help each other at least by being cool and supporting each other ."

I am sorry if the other lady did not see your open invitation in the Special EVents section. You come across as a very funny, interesting, laid back person and I can only hope the next time I am on the Island I get a chance to visit your "Sex PAlace"! :D

Pooner's Guide to navigating Perb:

Rule Number One

Do not get involved with any SP Wars no matter how enticing the subject may appeal to you. It will only be you who gets burnt in the end.

Rule Number Two

Go back and read rule number one and learn to live by it.

(any possible subtle references to situations or people that I would know nothing of and therefore have no opinion on, aside)

In case you were wondering, I can assure you that this post makes your mind look hot. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I believe in being kind and supportive to other women in this industry as well. However, I've gone out of my way before to help girls (both as an independent and when I started at an agency) and have been absolutely shocked at the treatment I received in return. I've had girls say hurtful things about me for no reason other than my departure from the agency world to blatant plagiarism of my website content (mostly direct copy and pasting of the excerpts I wrote, but I also had a lady copy my 'about me' section word for word).

It becomes a bit tiresome trying to be nice all the time only to be met with resistance. It's almost like a chicken and the egg scenario, were SPs mean to each other because they spread rumours or do they spread rumours because they're mean to each other? No matter how old we are, a lot of women are easily capable of reverting back to the catty high school attitude and cliques (and I won't even say that I'm above this, that would be hypocritical).

Luckily I mostly surround myself with an awesome group of positive and generous local ladies who are supportive and would never dream of doing something to hurt another provider. I'm pretty lucky like that I guess.

Thank you for making me appreciate my liver more (due to my overly high protein diet not boozing, peeps). I also twisted my neck on the pole because I sometimes forge ahead like a psycho when doing physical activity and forget form. But, no, I won't spend this whole time hitting you up for nutrition/training advice...the nutrition ratios of my diet look okay to you though??? Wait...I just said I wouldn't do that....:D Is there a "Peyton answers your sports nutrition questions" thread? Cause there should be, IMO.

Anyways, what the fuck is it with the super mind-fuck games chicks play in high school though? Those are the worst. Like the "pretend to be your friend to gather intel for girl that hates you" or the back-handed compliments in public and indirect threats in public?? Nothing compares to high school girl cliques....nothing. Working in an office full of women comes close, but at least you have labor standards, human resources, union rep. whatever to turn to.

No one really takes hurtful girl games seriously enough...especially in regards to the totally hormonally fucked-up teenage girl mind and ego. Words do hurt, a lot, when you're basically just a kid.

This is for weight maintanence with the numbers you sent me. :)

Works out to be about 55% carbs/25% protein/20% fat. I would slowly work up to the 300g carbs for you as you've been following a lower carb diet for awhile. Keep them complex (white is not right ok?) and you'll find that you have a lot more sustainable energy than what you're doing now.

I kind of agree,

for people living out the outside.

we tend to be a very narrow minded cliquey bunch of perb's

I was going to use another word then perb's actually.
