A guy with a 2008 join date calls shill on the 1st post of a guy with an October 2013 join date. Then people wonder why many are reluctant to post a review.

She looks hot but you have been a part time hobbyist who has seen many providers and this is your first review? Kinda reads like an add to me.
Put's me in mind of a board that was started up right about the time I was heading south. They were going to demand "real" reviews if you wanted to belong to their private wankers club. So, the first thing they did is ban all of the SPs that weren't servile enough. Then they created a template for reviews. If all the information wasn't in the template, the review was removed by the overwatch team. Surprisingly enough, the board didn't last long. In fact, I think the overwatch team spent about a year talking to themselves before they realized that that "new member" was the 100th "backup handle" of one of the 3 members of the overwatch team.

Anyway, now I remember why I won't be posting a review anytime soon.

I write restaurant reviews. Some restaurants inspire me to write a review while others do not. I may take lots of food pics, but I do not review EVERY restaurant I go to. I am just A) Not that creative, I have to be "in the mood" to write B)Do not have the time C) quite frankly, I could not be bothered!

I imagine the feelings for guys who do or do not write reviews are not that much different.

The thing about this board is you kinda have to chip your way in. It is a slow process that takes a lot of time. And not everyone cares to put the time in to become a "real" or full time reviewer. Or the time to become a "core member" of the website, if you will....

I’ve only written two because of the “Review snobbery”.
The more people complain about it, the less likely I am to write more.
Being in my 40’s and in control of my own life, I’m not very good and doing what I am told to do.
I recommend you just keep posting reviews the way you want to do them. If it has the basics in there like the digits if she is not an advertiser here and the price paid then all is good. I don't do the point system for the L A S because of all the subjectivity involved with that type of numeric description. If I had a good time - check, if I felt she was attractive - check, if she provided the GFE I was seeking - check, and if she appeared to enjoy what she was doing - check; that is all I am interested in. I typically do not write lousy reviews, only positive ones because any date depends upon chemistry and it takes two to have a chemical reaction IMHO. If its a YMMV scenario and it was not a good experience, I tend to keep quiet about it while if it was freaking amazing :D I tend to say so

I agree with the OP. Sometimes newbs get chased off because some are pretty quick to call Shill even if the poster has been registered here longer than me but with a lower post count. If they are lurking, it does not mean that they are not being factual or falsely advertising for someone. The non advertisers who post fake false reviews are usually so obvious that I call them by their SP name and say welcome to Perb :D

Why let a bunch of Anonymous Strangers on an Escort Review Board get to you? Write what you want, the facts will win out in the end no matter what the people on this board say. Good luck and don't give up!

This is my opinion only .
I highly suggest all married men to forgo the online reviewing of escorts . I say this because it is unacceptable to potentially upset your family life especially where children are concerned . I have always said this to the clients , I have many reviews in emails , the best way to show appreciation is to be a return play date . This isn't just for financial but it's also a great compliment .
I also have noticed after discussing this with return clients we have become closer because they know I'm looking out for their best interest . This might not mean a dam thing to most but I'm not interested in most I'm going for those few that understand what discretion really means and have enough common sense to not fuck up . (Yes I'm a straight shooter on this topic )
Not reviewing due to the bullshit may actually be a blessing in disguise .

I'm a relative new guy to 'pooning' and to this board. I seen the way some guys can get called shill on their first post if a review is too glowing or too negative. I didn't want that to happen to me, I've been around message boards in general for a long time so I waited a bit, built a small post count, and then after my last visit with an SP, decided to post a small review. nothing negative as I had a good time and would repeat, but made sure it was my experience or too positive because it was my first review on this board.
with that said, I did make comments in regards to negative review posted a week or two ago, by a new poster and the reason I did so was, not because it was negative, but because what he wrote about his 'experience' did not add up or make sense. the whole account sounded sketchy and said as much.
anyone who's been around the internet and message boards long enough, have to know that if something you say doesn't make sense, someone is going to call you out on it.

If you're going to call out KR, then at least include the review he is questioning.

Blonde Beauty-ALEXA REED - Amazing Genuine Experience!

Alexa is by far one of the more elite providers available in town. She may be young and relatively new at this, but she loves what she does and knows how to please! Anyone contemplating to see her should not hesitate as her services are top notch. Not only is she in great shape with an all natural petite little body, but she is one of the more genuine people you will meet both during and after the session. MSOG is offered/available for her 60 min or longer sessions and she does not hesitate to please each time. As a part-time hobbyist, I found that not many providers perform with the ability to have your bell rung twice within the short time, but Alexa was 'Genuinely' up for the challenge and won! She is in a league of her own! http://alexareedxoxo.escortfiles.com/

People can decide for themselves. I am in complete agreement with his assessment.

I would agree with both KR and Elmore, more ad than review.

Unfortunately, PERB is quite unhospitable at times these days, especially to newbies. Anybody who goes sgainst the grain gets raked ove the coals. There are a lot of "tough" guys and gals these days who think they are superior to everyone and that every little thought they have is a stroke of genius. I guess it is real easy to be brave from behind a computer screen.

I think it is obvious to most when a reviewer is a blatant shill but just because someone's first pst is a glowing review of an unknown SP doesn't mean it isn't true. Like most online reviews or anything online in general, read it, take it in and if you really want to check its validity, do some research and make an informed assesment before pointing the dirty end of the stick at someone.

Yah, those two reviews that are poles apart really require someone to chime in to call BS or to make a positive statement. It would have helped if Alexa had replied too IMHO.

Very confusing indeed.

I personally question the necessity of 'calling out' any reviewer as a shill. IMHO, it insults the intelligence of the average user of this forum who no doubt can read the review and come to their own conclusions. Yes, some reviews are suspect and I definitely keep that in mind when forming an opinion of the lady in question. Others are clearly not to be taken seriously. I like to think that I have the critical thinking skills to make these determinations independently.

This board certainly sees its share of accusations and chest pounding. What purpose does is serve? Some members seem to only post when calling out others. There is no doubt in my mind that more members would be willing to participate in a less hostile environment. Sadly, the end result is that the ratio of shill reviews to real reviews actually suffers negatively from our actions. The shills will always be there, will the real reviewers?

This is after all a review board. It only functions if members review their experiences. Cheer up and lighten up.
The white knights are just as bad as those calling out questionable reviews. As someone here already commented, many don't post negative experiences for any number of reasons. But when someone decides to review an otherwise well reviewed lady and comment on his poor experience, he gets attacked relentlessly as if it is impossible for 2 people to not have chemistry and a resulting poor session.

I agree that it is pointless to put a spotlight on those who are perceived to be shillers. We have to take most reviews with a grain of salt. Some write reviews and it's mostly a review about themself. I used to get annoyed and considered utilizing the ignore button but I've come to appreciate the humor in reviews where claims are made to give numerous women numerous orgasms in a 1 hour session.

The board has changed over the years and it seems there are fewer and fewer reviews. When I log on there are plenty of new posts in the lounge but that's pretty much it.

Further, the concept applies not only to schill positive reviews but also to non posted negative reviews.

There are ladies on this board that have had only over the top positive reviews. Does that mean that not one person has ever had a negative or even just average experience? Does the lady never have an off day? Is there never a mismatch of expectations?

I suspect that many members are also reluctant to post negative experiences for fear of being raked over the coals and ridiculed.

At the end of the day, a review board is like anything else. Garbage in = Garbage out
I posted above before I read this...couldn't agree more.

You got that right. I joined up long ago when I was going through a rough patch with a girlfriend. We resolved things and I never followed through on seeing an SP.
Now many years later I am single again and have decided to become active. If I posted a review, there is no doubt I would be flamed, ridiculed or something to that
effect.

Since you didn't quote me directly but did reference my previous post, I will address why I do not post negative reviews. Treading as gently as I possibly can, I submit the following -

In a nutshell, it is not worth the grief one may encounter if you give a SP a negative review. You may find a crowd of white knights, a number of members with multiple ID's who will muddy the waters of the thread and the SP + her friends taking offence to what you have stated. They will turn the tide against you as quickly as it you took the time to review the SP. Although you may take the time to post an honest negative review, you may find yourself being on a pseudo black list where some SP's will not see you because you posted a negative review about one of their friends and fear you may write a negative review about them as well. I know of actual real life situations where this stuff has happened and in some circumstances the thread disappears at the request of the advertiser. In my early days on this board I posted a few thoughts in a negative review of one of the SP's here and although there was no DNR posted, the review (s) did get swept under the carpet.

I am here for pooning, period. I like to see someone weekly (regrettably sometimes more haha i.e. too much $$ spent but that is worthy of another thread) and I do like to have a selection of available nice SP's who will welcome my company. I do not want to encounter a situation if I have offended SP X and her friend SP Y may say "thanks but no thanks".

On the upside, I can count on one hand the number of mediocre to lousy encounters I have had while being an active hobbyist. I am way past 300 dates (probably closing in on 500 if I count all the get aways and overnights etc etc) now so percentage wise 5 mediocre to lousy dates are not worth my time reporting because in the big scheme of things I have done rather well with selecting some nice to absolutely outstanding SP's. BBB has learned to pick his battles and posting negative reviews is not something I want to start doing now because I intend upon being active in this hobby for years to come.

I agree with KR completely. It does kind of reads like an ad. The "reviewer" made one post (the review in question) and have not posted since. Draw your own conclusions, I have...

If people are worried about how their reviews are perceived and being attacked then they might as well post their reviews on TER where there are no comments on reviews. I'd think TER has a bigger reach than PERB anyways.

Sometimes people over think it.

What lady has one review. Read most of them or all of them or a bulk of them.

The point being a lady should have a lot of reviews out there.
And that is all you kind of need to know she is legit and working and some of her services.
