What is everyone's opinion on going to an RMT who is a friend where both of us have some level of attraction towards each other? (How much I can't say, but i that matters, she's invited me to her place before and we have gone for food and events with and without other friends, just like friends would do).

I had casually mentioned to this friend that my neck and back was really stiff and could really use a good massage. She said no problem she could help me with it (just let her know and she will set it up).

I just want to make sure that by using her RMT service I won't be negatively affecting the relationship dynamics we currently have. Improving the relationship dynamics would be a bonus of course.

Has anyone been in a similar situation like this?

She's massaging your neck...not giving you a BJ. Just be professional and go see her about your health care issues. What do you think is gonna happen? What do you 'hope' is gonna happen? If you're afraid you're gonna sport a huge boner while she's massaging you, then I'd suggest rubbing one out beforehand. If it's true that both of you are attracted to each other then I'd let her take any leads in so far as making comments that would otherwise be inappropriate in a RMT/patient interaction. If you make the first moves, then you run the risk of taking advantage of her professional conduct and fucking up the friendship cuz you don't respect her for her work.

This for me doesn't show that there's enough evidence that a girl is attracted to a guy. You could very well be deeply into the 'friendzone'.....good luck getting out. LOL

Have you ever been to an RMT? The only way it could negatively affect your friendship is if you were unhappy with the quality of her service, just the same as seeking the services of a friend who is a dentist, accountant, plumber, etc.

FFS!!! Can we please stop mixing up RMT and SP. both great but different purposes. If I want a decent massage and an insurance receipt-go to an RMT. If you want to get your rocks off go see an SP.

Thanks for the comments.

I don't think this will end in tears (except maybe tears of pain lol). I am not expecting anything but professional skills as another mutual friend has used her service. Yes, I will be using my extended medical health benefit from the workplace.

How would I politely decline in the future if her routine/style does not meet my expectation without affecting the relationship?

You don't tell her. If you decide you need another RMT... she doesn't have to know. Tell her that you feel "better".
