SoOoOo... I've been approached by Ers List and asked to write a blog for them. I studied creative writing and journalism at one point in my life, so I know that I will enjoy this very much. I would love to hear from anyone about potential topics you would like to see addressed. Of course, if you don't feel comfortable expressing your opinions publicly, you can always email or pm me if you prefer!
As always, I appreciate your input ever so much and truly value everyone's opinions !!
Kisses!!!

Secret diary of a call girl? I loved that show.

People love to read about what life looks like through someone else's eyes. Admittedly, I don't know much about you except what I've learned here: you started out in Vancouver? then went to the US, worked in Nevada, got yourself on TV, then came back?

Your story would make for great reading. Who, what, where, when, why, and how. And maybe a personal lesson learned along the way with each post. Take the reader inside your life as you see it.

That's true... I think I would feel slightly narcissistic writing about myself all day, like I'm so interesting lol....
To clarify....
I was born and raised here in Vancouver, moved to NYC for school and modeling when I was 20, I heard about the Bunny Ranch and went to work there. While I ewas there I became the star of 2 shows on HBO and was a cover girl/centerfold 3 times, including being a Hustler Hone... now I'm back here for school and to spend some time with the fam...

Of course, but I don't have like 500 topics off the top of my head, and I like to hear what others would be interested about as well, as this is also about the audience enjoying it, not just being totally selfish.
If you didn't have something productive to contribute, why bother just to be a smart ass? lol :thumb:

I wasn't trying to be a smart ass. In my experience, most successful writers write about topics they are interested in. But that's just my opinion. I'm sorry you don't "truly value" it.

Hmm. I'd make it a variety of things related to sex. That way you do not corner yourself into one thing. Another good reason to make it as broad as possible is that you also don't want to sound like you're complaining about your job. Pooning community is a little confusing as there seems to be many sensitive guys out there with female angst. Going on past experiences is a good thing, but, you need to walk a fine line so you don't hurt your business. I know it's a different genre, but, Peter King has been a football columnist over the past 20 years. Not only does his articles read like he hates his job, but its gotten to a point where he sounds like a jackass most of the time. So try and avoid that.

Crap, I have to get going so I'll quickly throw out some ideas:

1) Erslist kind of gives me the impression that a lot of casual/first time pooners get their dates there. One article you could write about is how to have a successful first date with an SP. Like, go through the details of what happens as soon as the pooner enters the apartment or whatever. You might even mention how they and the SP might be feeling meeting a stranger for the first time, etc.

2) Jumping on #1's premise, go over contact etiquette with an SP. Maybe this can be the beginning of less. . . ignorant pooners who waste SP's time by asking stupid questions?

3) Talk about stories like Diary of a call girl. Surely you have experienced some fascinating encounters that would be worth a chuckle or worth being told to address a larger talking point.

4) Discuss health issues and the importance of getting checked out. It's alarming that some people still think it's OK to poon despite having an STI. . . Maybe even address dietary and your own workout tips?

5) Once in a while discussing SP's rights that are either improving or dissolving around the world.

6) Sex tips/advice

I don't see why it couldn't just be a variety of all of these issues. Once you found your interest just kind of run with it. Just try stuff out and see what sticks. As long as you keep writing on a consistent basis, you'll have readers and you'll develop your style.

Not too far
Cami - if I may suggest, I believe many topics of great interest would be advice and "best practices" kind of recommendations targeted for both pooners and SP's that are new to this hobby and the ones that are just about to start. For example for girls that are thinking of getting into this - how to write an ad, how much to charge and what packages, how to be discreet and not get caught, how to screen clients and avoid the bad ones, etc. The same for the pooners - what a first timer should expect and demystify that Holywood movie hooker or porn star image that new guys may have in their minds about SP's, how to be discreet, have a shower before always if it's offered, etc. I mean - you could probably write a thousand articles about little things like this, do's and don'ts of all kinds. In the end it's about getting better at what we do and make this hobby safer, cleaner and enjoyable. If you keep it real and publish every other day or so, people will start reading it and I bet some may end up asking you for advice directly. Spicying it up with real stories and examples will ad credibility. The thing for a blog is to keep it alive, write often and don't make very long posts.

Hi Cami,

I think a relevant topic for your blog would be the points that a young woman should consider before getting into the SP line of work.

For a short period of time I saw a number of newbie girls that worked for Carmen Fox. I think that CF agency makes it very easy for a young lady to get into the industry. I would argue, perhaps too easy. I saw some really sweet young ladies that I think thought that this new line of work was going to resolve all of their financial worries. Instead I think that many discovered that after the novelty of their "newness" had worn off, they were basically sitting in the den for 8 hours and earning little or no pay. The ladies that were getting the repeat customers clearly had something more to offer that they did not have to offer or were not willing to offer. It is also possible that the long term girls have more modest expectations, financially speaking. After a few weeks these new girls would no longer appear on the daily schedule. Part of the equation I'm sure is they found out that not all of their customers had the looks and charm of Richard Gere, a la Pretty Woman.

If you look on the CF website, you will see that 15 new girls have been announced in the last 30 days. I guarantee that in another 30 days, only a very few of these ladies will still be active at CF. In fact, several have not yet posted pictures, even though they joined several weeks ago, which makes me suspect that these ladies may have already left CF.

I know that from past conversations with newbie CF ladies that a significant percentage of these ladies had never done this "work" before. Now don't get me wrong, for the right lady, this line of work is perfectly ok. BUT, if a young lady gets into this line of work with a false idea of what to expect and then quits after a few weeks, she can look forward to wondering for the rest of her life "will I run into someone who I serviced during my short period in this line of work"? It seems to me, these young ladies pay a heavy price for some very short term income gain.

Again, I am not disparaging this line of work for the right person - that would make me a very big hypocrite since I have been a user of said services for many years. But there should be a “points to consider before entering this line of work” doc that these young ladies should read before joining CF or similar agencies.

1. SPs Overseas :) You could do an entire series on working conditions and the social implications of being an SP in various places around the world...like a compare and contrast of prices, average age of starting work, yadda,yadda...

2. SPs in popular media. You would be perfect to write articles on sex moving into the mainstream with an emphasis on SP work.

3. Maybe answer reader questions like an advice column?

I agree with the advice from an SP topic. I am certain other SP's and clients would appreciate being able to ask many questions.
Myself I would ask how a client should treat the SP properly to get the most out of a session. I am sure cleanliness and respect are very high on the list, but I am sure there are other key suggestions that could be offered for everyone's benefit.:thumb:

1) For example, some areas of Australia have legal brothels. Generally they are zoned to certain areas of a city but do independents exist; how do they compare to Nevada; would the model work here? Might be a business write off finding out :)

2) Agreed

3) Ever think of a trip to the Island? :clap2:

I am here.
Cami, I write, sporadically, a blog for my own website. I get idea by going through industry forums, websites, and other blogs.

I keep my ideas on a list on my computer and add to it every once in a while.

Talk about your experiences in the industry... good and bad... how you started... why you are still in it... why the Bunny Ranch (a friend worked at the Chicken Ranch)... funny situations... scares... etc.

Try to keep each article about 400 - 500 words.

Most of all, have fun doing it.
