When we think of Thanksgiving, our minds automatically go to Turkey and mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Yum!
However, I'd like for us all to take a minute to express something we're thankful for. With so much stress and anxiety hitting everyone these days (especially students with midterms like me!) we sometimes lose track of all the great things in our lives.
In my family it's a tradition for us to go around the table before we eat and say at least one thing we're thankful for. I hosted "Orphan's Thanksgiving" the other night for all my friends in Victoria with no family in the city and I kept that tradition alive with them, as my friends here are my family.
This year I'm thankful for so many things, but especially my health, my friends, my family, and the opportunity to live in such a lovely city.
And I can't forget to be thankful for you lovely gents!
What are you thankful for?
