Will be celebrating Thanksgiving at Stepho's enjoying their delectable Greek cuisine along with their welcoming and warm customer centric attitudes. We will be divulging into the abyss of their grilled souvlaki, mouth-watering lamb, divine steaks, flame-roasted chicken, homamde moussaka, savoury rice and roasted potatoes. IMHO, it is amazing how the fresh herbs and seasoning comes through in full flavour and texture of their signature dishes well known in Vancouver. One thing that is always special is the freshness and crispness of the salad as it carries the texture of just being picked out of the farmer field. This Thanksgiving is one that will be well cherished!

Hmmm...never thought about Greek for Thanksgiving. I do know how to make a turkey with all the trimmings though. Do not let the fact that I am single mean I cannot cook an amazing Turkey!! Garlic mashed potato with onions all whipped together with butter. Yum. Nutmeg on the green beans. Double yum. Honestly, I even like brussel sprouts!

You should definitely give it a shot! I also forgot to mention their succulent shrimp that is marinated with a blended mixture of spices and herbs cooked to perfection as if you just ate it fresh from the Mediterranean

Stepho's sucks if only for the reason that they hire people like Agent White.
I can't wait for you to "divulge into the abyss".
sorry brother I don't work there. Maybe you're jealous from those people who actually do as you hate your job flipping burgers? Happy Thanksgiving :)

Irregardless of the food involved. Traditional thanksgiving fare, mediteranean cuisine, japanese, chinese, european etc a menu is a menu. Who cares what's on the menu. Food is food

Thanksgiving is a time to get together with friend's family etc to give thanks for a plentiful harvest a good year past and an excellent future. Happy Thanksgiving
Uhhhh but why did you have to come into my thread like you have before and bring negativity? If you feel that strongly about Thanksgiving then you should also be hounding other posters who have talked about what they have eaten :) Don't be a bully! Happy Thanksgiving:)

As a food lover agentwhite, I have to ask if you have been to many other Greek restaurants in Vancouver? Stephos to me is remarkably lame. The only draw it seems to have for many people is that the portions are huge. But who really cares .As Martin Mull says "the only thing I like better than bad food is plenty of it"

Quality wise, there are so many better Greek restaurants in Vancouver.

IMHO

Yep, I live in the 'hood and there is ALWAYS a lineup for the place. God knows why.

And now they are opening another one on Robson to supplement their Davie resto. No accounting for taste

I will not comment on the food at Stepho's, but want to share my experience.

5 or more years ago I met a Japanese young lady who was spending a year in Vancouver. I was lucky to meet her on her third day while we were riding our bikes along the seawall. She was so easy to get acquainted with as she knew nobody. Sometimes things work out just right.

On each subsequent trip we spent a lot of time together. She was wiling to experience anything I suggested , but we also did things she was interested in. She introduced me to Ikea where she bought the furniture for her tiny apartment. We went to Canadians baseball games and she knew the sport really well. With me she had her first hot dog and Cracker Jacks and was willing to try almost anything else.

Naturally we went to eat often whenever I was in town. One time she told me she had always wanted to try Greek food, so that is how we ended up at Stepho's. I told her to order whatever she wished so she would get a good sampling of the cuisine.
Lots of appetizers, and I told her not to worry about eating too much. She could take home whatever we did not eat. The one great thing I remember about her was the fact that she was always smiling. But she was concerned about how much it was going to cost as she was only working a job in a deli on Granville Island. I assured her that seeing how happy she seemed to be with the experience was worth whatever it was going to cost me.

Well, when the bill came it was not small, but it was worth every penny.

The good news is, for whatever reason, the dinner that I put on my Visa never showed up on any of my future bills.

Sometimes being nice to a young lady is worth the price, even if that price is free.

Ah, because it's like Anton's on East Hastings in Burnaby? One portion will feed a family of four.

Plenty of good quality Greek places around Vancouver, Burnaby and North Van with excellent food that do not rely upon getting crowds by serving a bucket full of food for not very much money.

That`s hilarious!!!!!! I suppose it is a review board.... Lmaoooo
Btw, stephos is not that good... The food is decent but it`s the big portions and small prices that draw the crowds... If you must, call for pick up and take it home to avoid the line

I love people that use online dictionary's/thesaurus's to try to find big words to impress people with lol .[/QUOTE]

Hilarious yeah...
but what is genuinely funny is the atrocious writing of the OP as he feigns intelligence!
