No. As long as you are a good and kind person who never tries to do wrong to others you will be fine. If you are punished in the afterlife, (I believe in a forgiving God personally, but if you believe you could be punished in the afterlife...)it will be for things you ave done to intentionally hurt others. Pooning is a victimless Act. just because it is nit "right" in the eyes of common society, it doesn't hurt anyone, so therefore its not a sin..., Just my opinion, since you asked

I am here.
Geez! I had a long reply written, and it when I Googled something, and the first version disappeared. I wonder if my second version will be as profound.

I have a great deal of difficulty believing in god, especially as promoted by traditional religions. My skepticism stems more from my unanswered questions than anything else, such as:

Why would god, who is supposed to be all forgiving, chose one religion of another, assuming there is just one god, no matter how we praise him/her? Religion has been responsible for more deaths in this world than anything except illness.
Why would god allow 20M people die in WWII, some in very barbaric manners?
Why would god favour one sports team over another, or grant one player a touchdown or other scoring mechanism? I have never prayed to god when I scored, and I doubt he/she has a hand in it when I do.
How can god control every aspect of everyone's day to day life? How can god control all the living beings that must exist on other celestial bodies? (And I am not talking about you ladies.)

I think the Bible, the Qoran, the Book of Mormon, and other religious tomes I am not familiar with were all written by men, sometimes decades if not centuries after the events they portray. How accurate are those descriptions?
Is the world really just 2,000 years old? My step-mother, and others, thinks so, because that is what the Bible says.
Did Moses really part the Dead Sea?
Was there really a snake that spoke?
Was there a pair of every living creature on the arc for 40 days and nights? Was there really an arc?
Did Jonah really escape the whale?
Was Christ really dead when placed in the tomb before rising to heaven?
Did Joseph Smith really write the Book of Mormon on 17 gold tablets in hieroglypics? The actual book, which is several hundred pages of small print, is supposed to be a transcription of those 17 tablets. Give me a break!
Does god miraculously cure people, or is there something within their bodies that mysteriously cures deadly ailments? Maybe it is faith that does that, but not necessarily god's rewarding that faith. (I have walked on fire, and believe in mind over matter. Did god have a hand in not incinerating my feet and legs?)

I could go on and on.

Do I know there is NOT a god? NO! But, I can find no answers that satisfies me there is one.

Just one man's few quick thoughts.

I've always thought if there was a god (there isn't) but let's just say there is.

Would he not have the same questions as us?

Would he not wonder how or where he came from?

Even if he just magically appeared out of nothingness - he would still wonder - where did he come from...

Obviously he doesn't have a mirror, he's suspended in nothingness.

So what frame of reference would he/she or it have to create anything?

No. I did always liked Carl Jung's notion of God though... "the Universe sees itself though the eyes of mankind". God is a projection of our own longing and desire for protection and order. Nothing more. It is within us and is created by us. It is an idea whose purpose is to explain the inexplicable and to ease our fear of the cruelty and hardship of life and the finality of death.

john was one of the followers of christ who left behind a gospel

he had this to say about that subject:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
-John 1:1
now john was a mystic and a bit of an eccentric, and nobody's really been able to figure out WHAT he was saying, even after all these millenia

I dont believe in a god or a afterlife. As for people like hitler or people most consider bad. I dont think anything will ever happen to them.

That was my first thought...am I seeing double, or experiencing deja-vu?

But, OMG, look who this thread pulled out of the woodwork? Welcome back, PC!
I never left, just lurked for a while.

No, I don't believe in God or after life, so I have no idea if I'll pay a price for looming.

But, I am amazed at the price I have to pay for pooning, .......... and that could suddenly put me into the 'after life' one day.:)

But they knew what he was doing......

He was doing all the neighour's wives for free,... but he was paying heavy coin to do the young maidens, and soon he became known as 'John, the payer for sex'.

That handle stuck throughout the ages, and that's why us pooners are all called 'John's' now.:high5:
