I have to admit that I am very sensitive to price. So when I look at the price structure for most of the agencies and providers, they make no sense to me. For example, look at the prices for this particular agency - and I am using them only for illustrative purposes:
30 minutes - $140
45 minutes - $160
60 minutes - $180
90 minutes - $285
120 minutes- $340
If you analyze the price structure it means the following:
First 30 minutes - $140
Second 30 minutes - $40
Third 30 minutes - $105
Fourth 30 minutes - $55
I was wondering if anyone else had thoughts about the bizarre marginal price structure that exists. As well, I also wonder how the independent providers are able to generally have higher prices, even though I would assume there is a greater risk associated with them, as in having little or no recourse for a particularly bad experience. With an agency, you might have some chance of redress at least.
Or am I the only person who really cares about price?
