I USED to have a lot of respect for her, but not any more and especially after this. I'm a cancer survivor and am still high risk, even though I've been in remission for many years. I choose alternative therapies and lord knows with the amount of money she and Brad make, they could MORE than afford those therapies. Stanislaw Burzynski being one of her possible choices. He has a documentary on youtube - Cancer is Big Business. I know many women that I've met that have undergone double mastectomies through cancer support groups and it is indeed a very tough decision. Empathy and Sympathy are great marketing tools when you're trying to sell the public on passing the bill they are trying to and who better to use than a world renowned "humanitarian" and high profile celebrity.

Angelina Jolie's announcement of undergoing a double mastectomy (surgically removing both breasts) even though she had no breast cancer is not the innocent, spontaneous, "heroic choice" that has been portrayed in the mainstream media. Natural News has learned it all coincides with a well-timed for-profit corporate P.R. campaign that has been planned for months and just happens to coincide with the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court decision on the viability of the BRCA1 patent.

This is the investigation the mainstream media refuses to touch. Here, I explain the corporate financial ties, investors, mergers, human gene patents, lawsuits, medical fear mongering and the trillions of dollars that are at stake here. If you pull back the curtain on this one, you find far more than an innocent looking woman exercising a "choice." This is about protecting trillions in profits through the deployment of carefully-crafted public relations campaigns designed to manipulate the public opinion of women.

This will be controversial info, no doubt, but I'm going to lean in its favour...this shit is deep and, if you don't wanna wallow in it, better get out now. As I've said in previous threads, folks, for your own safety, do your own homework (the other option is to stay blissful). Burzynski, the movie, is a good place to start.

Thanks, Angelina, for keeping the wool pulled over the eyes of women everywhere while selling out to for-profit, monopolistic, corporate interests that incessantly seek to exploit women for profit.

1. I very much doubt Ms. Jolie would wittingly have a double mastectomy as part of a plot to increase the profits of a corporate drug company.

2. Part of the problem is that advocates of the natural therapies described are not willing (or able) to take the steps necessary for the research and trials that the profit-minded drug companies can afford to do. Where are the examples of well-conducted trials being ignored by the medical journals and press? Without the hard data, there is no way to distinguish the many quack therapies from a legitimate regime. Of course the drug companies are not going to investigate the properties of therapies that they cannot patent and control; of course they are going do their best to prevent alternate research from taking place.

Many of the therapies the desperate subscribe to are no more legitimate than Filipino faith healers. If we want evidence, then citizens have to press for funding for publicly owned research and trials, and demand that the profit motive be cut out, and be willing to pay for it. This would require governments that are not in bed with the international corporations...and I do not see that happening any time soon.

You don't know what you are talking about. The BRCA1 gene is necessary to control mutations in cells. The women at elevated risk have a mutated copy of this gene that produces a broken protein, so the gene basically isn't doing its job properly. Suppressing it will achieve nothing, it will in fact make the problem worse.

No you don't know what you're talking about, there is a PATENT on that gene and it is now for profit in big pharma.

Sure they do take studies, do you not know that big pharma pays big bucks to have those studies removed or the scientists discredited? They do that all the time. Watch Cancer is Big Business, check out http://phoenixtears.ca .. I did that method, I've been in remission for over 10 years.

Ummm first of all I did not get that just from copy and paste, I'm a THREE time cancer survivor (as stated in my original contribution to this thread), so I have a vast amount of knowledge on cancer itself and the genetics of cancer. And I went and did research when the news came of her double masectomy. So let me clarify, I WAS A fan of Angelina, I thought some of her causes were notable until I did the research on her, fully. That means I spent hours and hours investigating the causes she's worked on, the agencies she's tied to and the majority of them are TIED to microsoft and Monsanto (Microsoft is a major share holder in Monsanto - that's easily obtainable information) .. as are several other agencies she's tied to, whether they are share holders or on the board of monsanto or it's subsidary companies.

I have NO problem with Angelina making money, she can do whatever she wants to .. but I have a problem with this.

Here's an EASY equation for you, so you understand the basic symantics of it all .. Monsanto creates diseases, big pharma promises cures and pills for those diseases, so you can live with them and not really cure them.
