I am going to visit China next month for 2 week. My intention is to keep it as a secret. I'm wondering what I'm thinking will work?! I activate international roaming plan on Rogers. Once I arrived in China, and let say if someone call me on my cell (604-XXX-XXXX) from canada or china, I will be able to answer their call?

It should - that's the whole idea of roaming. It will be a lot more expensive than buying a China Mobile SIM card though. You could do that then forward your Canadian number to the new Chinese number.

Be prepared to answer phone calls in the middle of the night with a non-sleepy voice though!
