Do you know any songs that have been written about SPs?

Rock stars are the ultimate pooners, traveling from town to town with limited time schedules

First one that comes to mind is by The Police: Roxanne

Led Zeppelin: hey hey what can I do

Sublime: wrong way

Do you have any to add?

Well it's a bit of an oldie, but the "House of the rising sun" but the Animals is definately about prostitutes.

Lola, by the Kinks, might be about a prostitute. It's certainly about a transvestite.

Lady Marmalade

Hot child in the City, by Nick Glider, may also be about a prostitute.

J'avais reve d'une autre vie - Song from Les Mis, sung by Fantine the prostitute

I had dreamed of another kind of life, but life has killed my dreams
We muffle the dying cries of the animal we're slaughtering
I dreamed of finding love, but Prince Charming killed my innocence
For a tiny bit of happiness, I have paid with my tears
At night, for two golden coins, when they cum inside me with their pathetic effort, they don't know they're making love with death.

WELP, HAPPY POONING EVERYONE!

Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis - Tom Waits

"Just be nice to the gentlemen, Fancy, and they'll be nice to you":

Probably the classic one; although Billie Holiday's version is much sadder:

When the only sound in the empty street
Is the heavy tread of the heavy feet
That belong to a lonesome cop I open shop

When the moon so long has been gazing down
On the wayward ways of this wayward town
That her smile becomes a smirk, I go to work

Love for sale, appetizing young love for sale
Love that's fresh and still unspoiled
Love that's only slightly soiled, love for sale

Who will buy? Who would like to sample my supply?
Who's prepared to pay the price, for a trip to paradise?
Love for sale

Let the poets pipe of love in their childish way
I know every type of love better far than they
If you want the thrill of love, I've been through the mill of love
Old love, new love every love but true love

Love for sale, appetizing young love for sale
If you want to buy my wares follow me and climb the stairs
Love for sale

Let the poets pipe of love in their childish way
I know every type of love better far than they
If you want the thrill of love, I've been through the mill of love
Old love, new love every love but true love

Love for sale, appetizing young love for sale
If you want to buy my wares follow me and climb the stairs
Love for sale, love for sale, love for sale

Hehe, thanks! For the record though, I did mean to say welp.

welp: "An interjection used when discussing an unfortunate circumstance without expressing anger. "Welp" is often used when exaggerating or seeking pity, sarcastically, or in attempts to conceal frustration."

Lyrics to I Wonder : Rodriguez

I wonder how many times you've been had

And I wonder how many plans have gone bad

I wonder how many times you had sex

I wonder do you know who'll be next

I wonder l wonder wonder I do

I wonder about the love you can't find

And I wonder about the loneliness that's mine

That's a great one

I saw the Doobies near New Years and this one stuck in my mind as they were playing it

Up all night I could not sleep
The whiskey that I drank was cheap
With shakin' hands I went and I lit up my last cigarette
Well the sun came, night had fled
And sleepy eyed I reached my bed
I saw you sleepy dreamin' there all covered and warm

South city midnight lady
I'm much obliged indeed
You sure have saved this man whose soul was in need
I thought there was no reason
For all these things I do
But the smile that sent out returned with you

When day has left the night behind
And shadows roll across my mind
I sometimes find myself alone out walkin' the street
Yes, and when I'm feelin' down and blue
Then all I do is think of you
And all my foolish problems seem to fade away

South city midnight lady
I'm much obliged indeed
You sure have saved this man whose soul was in need
I thought there was no reason
For all these things I do
But the smile that sent out returned with you

Pretty good songs about soiled doves:

Soul Asylum - Without A Trace

Prince - Darling Nikki

Eminem - A Kiss

Call it my fromage poetic side, but here's a poem/song I wrote that came to me after seeing an SP:

Happily Ever After

Your four o'clock
walks through your door
I smile and
You smile
A wink
A peck
An embrace
If for a moment
There was something...
A fleeting flame
Flickers in lonely hearts

Sixty minutes
Another customer
On the clock but
Six seconds of your eyes
Touching mine
Is all I need
To fill warmth
Inside me
Let's pretend
If for a moment
There is no one else
Just us
*
Five to five
Booked for an hour
My time is almost up
Human touch commodified
A wink
A peck
An embrace
If for a moment
There was something...
A fleeting flame
Flickers in lonely hearts
