Vancouver is a 'pay before' city, which confuses the hell out of me when it comes to tipping.
I don't like the idea of tipping in advance, but fumbling for a tip at the end seems kind of tacky. And how to present it?
The last two sessions I had here were fantastic, but I was hummin' so good after them that I clear forgot about a tip. It was only as I was walking down the street that I remembered.
I wonder how many tips are missed because of pay before. Is dine and dash that big of a problem?
