I heard that from VJ and Bobbi-Victoria too, MG, but that observation has little practical utility. It's not as if we can have a summit meeting of SPs and pooners to hash out the truancy problems.
I personally never, ever flake on a SP. In the rare instance of having a sudden scheduling conflict, I contact the SP well in advance and we work it out together, usually re-scheduling. It's the polite thing to do.
I doubt I, or anyone, can shame bad pooners into correcting their tendency to truant behaviour, or do anything else for that matter.
An enterprising SP, or agency, may come up with a business model that rewards and/or motivates good attendance (a FF program?). I have other ideas that are half-baked in my head, but I wouldn't want to present them here. I find too many problems with them.
