The point of my first post was to point out that, in general, Vancouver women who are 5s or 6s seem to think that they deserve men who are 9s or 10s.
As one commenter stated, these 5s and 6s walk around with the attitudes of 9s or 10s themselves. 21st century Caucasian girl syndrome?
Yes. But more like 21rst Century Vancouver Caucasian Girl Syndrome.
I've lived for long stretches in several cities across this good country. And while I have met some fantastic women in this city, I do have to say that I have never seen and had interactions with so many women who really think their shit don't stink like I have here in Vancouver. Not all of them, but certainly a much greater number than other cities. In other cities, they are more the rarity - most women I've had the pleasure to interact with in former homes of Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and Calgary socially are, if anything, very demure and understated about their desirability (which IMO makes them more desirable). Here it's the opposite.
But to be fair its not just the women. There's plenty of under-educated, over-boozifed complete douchebag looser guys in this town that would rate a 1 on the personality level and maybe a 4 or 3 on the looks level who think they are gods-gift to women.
Both these types exist aplenty in every city I've ever been to. But I've never seen (and experienced them) in the numbers I've seen here in vancity.
Edit - I wanted to add - most of the nicest "6"s and "7"s (and highers) I've met and interacted with here in Vancouver aren't from here. They've almost always been transplants, and most of them recently.
Double Edit: I'd like to point out my own rating system (re, she's a 10) is not only based on looks, but on personality
maybe that's my own perception - I see a "7" or even an "8" in looks, but her attitude and personality is so shitty, I think of her as a 6 or a 5
