Goon, the movie: a soldi hockey movie

My buddy told me about this movie so I rented tonight and watched it. What a fun movie with Seann William Scott an an enforcer! I didn't know when the movie came out in theaters last year, but really liked it on video.

Which is the same reason I'll watch the Newsroom.

Ya it wasn't too bad, I laughed when I saw Georges Laraque in it playing another enforcer of course.

Nothing will ever eclipse Slap Shot...

....but I have heard Goon's a fun ride. Proud to say it was filmed in our fair city!

Been on repeat around my place. Everyone loves it. If you don't get it, either you A) aren't Canadian, B) never played league hockey, and C) are a huge stick in the mud.

Instant Canadian classic. Today's 'Slap Shot', but NO replacement.
