I hope this prick, Sandusky, rots in jail.

He'll appeal and it will likely get over turned and he'll get retried and convicted and will probably be sentenced to 600 years of which he will serve 5 or 7 before he croaks! Not quite yet!!
Convicted on 45 of 49 counts, his legal team plans an appeal. All they have to do is win on a single issue(count) and probably the balance of counts will "fall." And apparently, the presiding judge made numerous rulings on legally questionable issues. Remember, just one reversal in Appelate Court and verdict could unravel.
And yes, in my book he is a slimeball of the first degree.
bigguy
That is what I don't understand. The guy says he saw it as a reflection in a mirror, but basically walked off without saying anything. I find it hard to believe that he would not have at least turned around and said something, that is what any normal person would have done. I think that is disturbing, and it makes me think that maybe he didn't see what he said he saw. He'll appeal and it will likely get over turned and he'll get retried and convicted and will probably be sentenced to 600 years of which he will serve 5 or 7 before he croaks!
There was an assistant coach and a janitor I believe that saw him having sex with one of the boys in the shower, why they did not pulverize him on the spot is beyond me. They didn't even call the cops afterwards. WTF?
Actually he is facing around 400 years.I hope the judge is really hard on him and sentences him the full 5 years and make him go to thearapy. This should send a message to child abusers.
I haven't actually been following the Sandusky case, but if it's true that he was convicted with that kind of evidence, then you raise a very good point. The satanic sex abuse scandals were a very good example of how justice can turn out horribly wrong. As for the other witness, their stories were not consistent, nor were they corrobrated in any way. So basically it was their word against his. What is going to happen if one of these guys later recants?
If he did these things then he deserves what he gets, but at the same time I don't see how one can exclude a Salem witch hunt scenario. I can see a lot of parralels in this case to the Kindergarten satanic ritual trials of the 90s.
