Lately, I've fallen into a rut of the same web pages and most of them seem to have lowered their standards of quality content. Many have gone in the direction of user contributed (free) content, and most of that is drivel.

In the past, this board has given me some links that are gems.

guesshermuff.blogspot.com

Anybody else bored with the internet lately?

Do you have some links to recommend? Not looking for anything specific, just am looking to find interesting stuff of quality.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions! Found some I liked.

Yes, Sexy Mel, I have been increasing my reading the last couple weeks. Started into Game of Thrones, devoured the first book, slowly making my way thru the 2nd (don't like it as much). Also reading Rachel Maddow's book about the ever-increasing utilization of the US military.

I used to go to Deadspin a bit, and they would sometimes link to Jezebel. Female oriented, but I like to browse just the same. Just haven't made it a habit yet.
Yeah it is a bit, but I have many straight male friends who enjoy reading it for the humorous articles on politics lol.

You might like Irvine Welsh, he's my favourite author of all time. He wrote 'Trainspotting', if you're familiar with the movie. His books are gritty, usually about scummy types, but with a comedic element. He's such an amazing writer, 'Filth' is personally my favourite book, it's fucked but it's awesome, I tell everyone I meet to read it lol. 'Hell's Angels' by Hunter S Thompson was a good read, so was 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy, 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' series was great too. But I'd definitely suggest 'Filth', you'll love it lol.

Thanks Violet! I read the Road, really liked it. I'll take your recommendation and download Filth to my Kindle (there's a lot of filth already due to my penchant for erotica).
