house and desperate housewives weren't cancelled. it was known that this was their final year and they ended with series finales.

Unfortunately it's all about reality TV these days. But I find that the majority of those are terrible. The only one I watch is "Celebrity Apprentice". And I don't even know why I watch that because I'm definitely not a fan of Donald Trumps.

House should have ended after the Seasons 6, which was the shows best.

Season 7 was a brutal. Season 8 a bit better especially in the early episodes with Odette Annabel and Charlyne Yi but it has been pretty inconsistent since the whole team got back together. I love Hugh Laurie and I'm happy he decided to move on.

As for the other 8 I never watched any of them.

David Caruso is American. He was born in Queens, NY (he grew up in the same area as a buddy of mine).

never watched any shows on that list. but csi: miami really surprised me. i thought it was wildly popular and was considered the best of the 3 in the franchise? btw, no matter what caruso does he'll always be detective john kelly from nypd blue to me.

Terra-nova & Alcatraz

Watched both those and found the former mildly entertaining with a good premise but a bit too lacking in dynamic character development. Alcatraz also had a good premise but was going in the "Lost Season 4" writing mode which could not hold the audience attention.

I'd rather see the original depart than CSI:Miami. :nod: The decision by the suits of CBS to cancel one of my favorites " Unforgettable " really surprised me. The show was averaging at least 11 million viewers so I thought it was definitely gonna be renewed but the suits got the show for its sliding demo ratings. :doh:

And CSI Miami was the worst one... unlike the other 2, there was zero character development, nor was there any characters that were actually likable... good riddance...

I think a lot of shows go on past their best before date. Usually around 5 or 6 years is about the maximum before they just start recycling the same stories.


I saw Alcatraz, it's filmed locally, but you could see it didn't have a premise that could go on for too long.
