The C.I.A is a spy agency......the secret service is the Presidential protection detail......the guys sent down to Columbia are the advance team whose job is to secure the facility where the meeting takes place....secure as in sift through ALL details of staff employed at that hotel and pretty much go over the entire building to ensure the security of the President....elevators/washrooms/kitchen and the rest....they also survey surrounding buildings to make sure there is no place tht is cose enough to use a high powered rifle as a means of assasination from a distance......the secret service is not a spy agency.....though every agent is expected to take a bullet for the President.

The guys did fuck up though as they were not discrete with hookers.

I've been to Colombia several times to poon and its amazing the quality you can get down there. These guys were a bunch of schmucks, they pooned out of their own hotels and got into disputes to boot. I've always rented a private apartment to avoid all this BS or used one of those hotels where you do not see any attendants when you check in or out. I'm just amazed at their stupidity!

It was considered inappropriate because they were there to secure the site in advance of the presidents visit. They ran the risk of compromising the president's security as a result, so their behaviour was considered extremely unprofessional. That is why they are going to probably get fired. Playing on company time as it were.

sounds to me what got them busted was that they didn't tip the concierge, who then passes on a small amount of the tip to the floor supervisors, elevator men, etc. the tip buys silence. hell, i didn't know shit about local customs, but when a guy in hotel uniform told me that i had to pay a 'fee' for a guest, duhhhh.... it didn't take me but a fraction of a second to reach into my pocket and hand over the fee! i smiled and said (in piss-poor spanish), 'no receipt, of course,' and he winked and answered back, 'no, no receipt!'

these guys were just stupid is all, and should absolutely get busted - for stupidity, not for pooning, lol!

that's one version, another is that one of the SP's didn't get paid and she called the cops, and they filed a report with the embassy...........and.......the rest is fodder for the mass media..................just waiting to see what the late night types do with this....

On my first trip to Medellin I stayed at a place called the mansion owned by a couple of Aussies and it was a pooner fuck fest, I did however get a hotel room to take civilian chicks to.

Generally I had to pay 50,000 pesos for a guest fee for each girl I brought over for an over nighter. They would make you sign a consent form at the front desk and the girl would have to present her national ID that would get photocopied. No tipping required and no fucking around. I only got a few dirty looks from some of the rich Colombians that were staying there on new years eve when I did the walk of shame with 3 girls who were clearly pros on New Years. Later on the that day I had one of those same people buy me a drink at the bar and we ended up going out partying and I ended up banging one of this friends.

What happened in Colombia should have stayed in Colombia if those Secret Service agents just gave a fair donation to the working girls. :nod:

Now those 11 or 12 Secret Service agents just had their clearance yanked and I have a big feeling that they will be providing executive security services very soon in the private sector to the likes of Jay-Z and Britney Spears.
