Two pages on Dix losing a skytrain ticket but nobody here thinks it's significant a 17-year Liberal has jumped ship?
I guess with thinking like that it explains why we've had the most corrupt government outside of Quebec for the last 10 years.Quite frankly, losing a skytrain ticket is more interesting than anything VanDongen is doing.
Ha ha ha ha ha, well at least he didn't say the dog ate it.I guess with thinking like that it explains why we've had the most corrupt government outside of Quebec for the last 10 years.
Canucks aren't playing & Graham James hasn't molested anyone, yup slow news day.Government corrupt, MLAs crossing the floor, blah, must be a slow news day...
Unfortunately, Hunka...this is just another sign that the current Liberal party and gov't is starting to fracture under Clark's steerage. We are the taxpayer, we pay them to govern the province...and they are clearly shitting the bed. If you have caucus members jumping ship to another party, then that member hiring a lawfirm to look into the dealings of this gov't (BC Rail), and also alleges other dissenters are also considering similar actions....we might be in for an election sooner than later. We really can't let this one go, as taxpayers, we can't afford to.Nope....just the same cards shuffling to a different deck. Cock why don't you tell us why this is so significant and why any of us should give a sh*t? You've read the papers, have you read anything you didn't expect in what either party/ person had to say?
Quite frankly, losing a skytrain ticket is more interesting than anything VanDongen is doingound:
It could also be that he/they realize they have no chance of winning the next election. A cynic might compare it to rats jumping off a sinking ship. I'm at a loss on what to do in the next election because there is no way in hell I would vote NDP, especially with Adrian Dix at the helm. Maybe it's time I started voting Green?Unfortunately, Hunka...this is just another sign that the current Liberal party and gov't is starting to fracture under Clark's steerage. Yep. I do swing from the centre to the left, but there hasn't been a good centre choice...ever. NPD in the 90's...nope. Gordon Campbell in the naught's (2001-09) was supposed to be close to centre....nope. Christy Clark...not when she's hiring Harper's advisors....not even close. BC needs a good politically centered party that can reflect a more moderate view...and stay away from american style attack ads, especially when there is no election in the near future....That's exactly the problem, there is NO choice. Hasn't been for a long time. We end up voting for someone/party because they are the not the worst, not because we believe in them. That's the sad truth as I see it.
That's all any politician believes in.Getting elected. Unions & big business are whose really steering the ship. He's an opportunistic little cocksucker, who I hope gets his ass handed to him in the next election. Right wing or left, have the fucking courage to stand behind your convictions. Trasolini out in Port Moody was the Libs pick for their candidate in the by-election, but he went with the NDP so he'd get elected. What does he believe in? Getting elected, nothing so pedestrian as principles. Same with Van Dongen. Divorces his wife, marries his assistant, dumps the libs and takes up with the Tories, these guys would fuck snakes in public to get elected.
I protest! Two pages on Dix losing a skytrain ticket but nobody here thinks it's significant a 17-year Liberal has jumped ship?
I protest!
Where is the proof Dix actually paid for that Skytrain Ticket?ound:
Van who? Who gives a shit. He knows he has been on the outs with the Liberals for years. He basically just fell on his sword.
What about this as an option:It could also be that he/they realize they have no chance of winning the next election. A cynic might compare it to rats jumping off a sinking ship.
