The crazy dad routine

So my good friend has a 17 year old daughter and she is starting to date.
It still blows my mine we are the same age, and I could have children this age.

So his big thing, is when the boys come to pick her up, he threatens them with violence.
Sort of like how you see on tv......"Bring my daughter home 10 minutes late, I will shoot you"

I think its stupid. In my teen dating years, I had one father threaten me.
It annoyed me so much, I made sure I screwed his daughter.

Anyone else recall dealing with girls parents when you were younger......did you really care what they did or said.

Soooo. When you subsequently display bad manners to the greasy waste of skin she drags in to meet you, you've told her to give you one or two swift ones??? Most guys just hire a Dom.

Hey, you know what they say, "the family that plays together, stays together." On the positive side, got out from under that particular problem before it became a problem.

A buddy of mine shared with me that when either of his two teenage daughters begin to date, their agreement is to allow him to have a one minute chat with their respective dates.

His intro line will be, "It was a pleasure to have met you. Do have a fun safe time and anything you do to my daughter, I will do the same to you but ten times harder".

The only problem with any of these threats is as guys we rarely think with the big head, especially when we're that age.Girls are worse, they usually wanna get it on with said boy just to spite daddy.She's just bringing him home to rub it in daddys face:nod:

being the first daughter !!!! my father kept a good hold on me... I was rarely allowed out... and a boy came to the house to hang out in the alley and just kick a soccer ball around.... he would run out of the house and chase the kid right down the street !!! good thing the boy always came on his bike so he could get away, and my father is a tall large boned husky man !!! his fist are so big he probably could have knocked the poor boy right into a coma .... and when he called the house.. the phone jack was ripped out of the wall..... hes calmed down over the years... and there is a younger sibling ( quite younger than me .. just graduated ) who has a significant other.. and hes got no problem with that boy ????? either that.. or he doesnt have the energy anymore to run people down the street I think at first some dads just dont know how to deal with their girls.. and them growing boobs.. getting periods... and boyfriends and losing virginities.. !!!! the only thing running through his head is probably what ever it was that he was doing or tryin to do with girls at that age !!!

ps.. he's come in handy at times now for me, because he can be so intimidating,, that i get him to get rid of guys now... rude jerks who bother me, get one of his cell phone numbers. I simply say dad.. this guys keeps bugging me and he doesnt seem to get the point and he wont stop, so i gave him your number.. this is his name ....... so when he calls for me... make sure he never calls back or bothers me again !!!!!

works like a charm.. they stay clear from me after that.. and i have been out with my parents n several time drinking and dancing we are close and when the slobbering touchy feely ones bother me when im out with them... a three second conversation with good old dad.. and they dont even look my way after.

True story. A well known sports figure came out to shake hands with me while waiting for his daughter. He smiled and told me he would treat me as well as I treated his daughter. His hands went all the way around mine (I now have an XL size hand) and his arms were the same size as my thighs.

I was scare shitless and barely laid a hand on her which I think in the end really pissed her off

for me and my high school daughter it was more about teachers.

one in particular.
he was a fucking ass hole.
he fixated on her thought she looked like this one movie actress, went on and on and made a big deal of it.
until the entire school thought they were having sex or that was the rumors. cops were called the whole nine yards.

i could have just went and fucking took a baseball bat to his ass,
he had a wife there a hot cute wife, and he went of on my daughter like he never saw a girl before,
what a fucking prick
runied my kids highschool days is what he did.
but my family insisted i stay out of it, because i would have just lost it. and put a beating on him. nothing happened but alot of rumors, so i guess he didnt deserve a beatdown, but shit,
he was one ripe prick.

my kid is as cute as hell. and where ever she worked,

old fucking guys would just focus on her.

until cops have to be called and the guy has to be escorted out of the building.
every job she has ever had, on a regular basis
some prick guy will just stare at her, ask her out even though she is like sixteen eighteen or whatever she happens to be, and he is like fifty or sixty.
he is asked to leave, and generally refuses or just makes an ass,
if there are big male employess working there they will walk the guy out.
if not the cops get called.
you know in many ways its intersting and easy if a girl is hot.


but really my daughter is really hot and yeah its nice, but
its also just a pain,
the more pretty a girl is the more attention she gets, and well the nuts just come out of the wood work, and i mean it the nuts just appear.

and my kid is smart top of her class in university. she just isn't something to look at,
got her fucking old man beat that is for sure, in looks and smarts.

but like i said alot of guys are just fucking nuts when it comes to pretty girls

Funny...when I was a teenager dating girls, never had a problem with dads except for a few who tried to be tough and intimidating, which never worked on me...The ones who were trying to be tough dads were mainly jerks who had serious control issues, and who probably deserved to be brought up short, collared and leashed. I didn't see these faux-tough dads as anything more than that, and their daughters were always happy to disappoint daddy.

Sure, I can see being irrate over adult men after yer little girl when she's 16-18. So would I. Got to lighten up a bit when it comes to boys dating your girl. Wanna alienate your daughter? Go ahead and tell her you don't like her bf, and that she can't see him anymore, and it'll happen to you what happened when you were dating girls back in the old days before sliced bread and colour tv.

My dad was that way . He knew how he was as a kid and an adult .. and figured every guy was the same .. My sister knew what her dad though about boy too .. Now this was the long hair 60's and 70's so there was another strike against them

She saw a few guys . that i know of .. two she brought home just so she could go out with them at night . one never came back .. the second one she prepared before he meet dad . they dated for a year. and got married 2 days after her 19th birthday .. and still are together 37 yrs later .. Save my dad a lot of worry lol

I am not married and don't have any kids .. but considering what i know now about women .. and guys .. I would be wasting my time being an ass hole to the guy .. Now on the other side if they ever hurt my daughter Yah i just mighty kill them no matter how old i was .. so far not a chose i have to worry about .

Tell him that you've noticed his tough-guy act, and share this with him. It may help sway him.

I think the best defence against that sort of thing is making sure your daughter (or his daughter, in this case) understands that until she's on the fast track to marriage, almost any guy that she hooks up with will say and do anything to get in her pants. As long as she understands & accepts that... and is aware of the consequences of those actions... then that's all you can do.

Make sure she truly gets that it's her body, that she's in charge of it, and that she always has the right to say NO...and the guy must accept her answer (and if he doesn't, a black belt in a martial art might get the point across).

Unless there's a history of some form of abuse or distress, most girls will choose a good path for themselves if they know that their family loves them and is behind them 100% of the way. Some times, you have to let them make bad decisions, or else they'll hold it against you for a long time. Give them the tools to make the right choice for themselves, and it'll be paid back to you many times over the years.

Of course, if someone actually physically hurts your kid, hunt them down and bring a sturdy base ball bat
