So called animal lovers

Please excuse me while I vent for a minute... but I just had to let it all out and what better place to type like a maniac than on the forums at perb?

I"ve seen this happen here and there-- most recently a friend of a friend.

People who claim to be animal lovers, pester their friends into donating to PETA, buy vegan products, eat vegetarian and do almost everything an animal lover would do.... EXCEPT TAKE THEIR DOGS FOR A WALK!

Now it would be one thing if you lived on a farm and let your dog walk itself... but if you're in the city? an house? apartment? At least get out for 15 minutes.

Sorry for sounding so bossy, but I just had to deal with a horrible little dog that wouldn't stop jumping everywhere.
Apparently their owner NEVER takes them out. I feel bad for the dog.
I bet it would turn into a sweet little pet if it got more attention.

And large dogs need a good few hours of RUNNING around every day. So for us city folks, if you can't take your dog for a good run in a park or the woods every day, you probably should wait on having a large dog until you can!

And the funny part is when these same people wonder why their beloved pet destroys their house when they're not home or misbehaves in a variety of ways.

Dogs don't feel calm and balanced unless they get exercise.. just like humans,... only we find ways to alleviate the stress by doing other destructive things to ourselves, lol.

What kind of dogs should be banned is a better question. Around my neighborhood some houses have mean looking nasty dogs that look like a mailman's worse nightmare. I delivered packages for UPS once and lets no get macho here, you never know when a crazed dog is going to bite you in the nuts. So I quit that job!

Talking about mean dogs, if I could rent a really mean dog for an hour a day to scare my mailman away, I would, I mean all my mailman ever brings me is junkmail or bills......
