was it confirmed that he was on the plane. the radio said although he's on the roster, not all players were necessarily on the flight. (Ruslan Salei for example)

Demitra was a very gifted player...and from what I hear...a great guy...RIP.

RIP to Demitra and all those who perished. Sad year for hockey with all the suicides/accidental deaths and now this. oh and concussions...
