Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
You know I was never much of a fan but he sure had star appeal and was a true ICON!
Sure there are alot of great entertainers but other than 2 or 3 others, no one compairs.
A true testiment to his popularity is the fact that 34 years after his death, 100's of people make a very good living impersonating him and millions more go watch those Elvis impersonators.

I think I'm gonna go have a Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich for lunch in his honor.

Years ago, E's cook was on Carson. She made the famous
PB&B sandwich. She melted a whole lb of butter in a cast iron skillet, fried/grilled the sandwich then
poured the remaining clarified butter over the artery clogging treat:thumb:.
I can't recall for sure, but I think she said Elvis would wash it down with a quart of milk:clap2:
A meal most fit for a KING:nod:

Being an addict isn't easy I would assume, some people just can't beat it....the fact he made more money alive or dead really shouldn't justify if you have sympathy for him or not though. What's money got to do with it?
The quality of empathy just escapes people like rancidc. Eventually, everyone gets in a situation where they need it. That is when they learn the value of it.
