Perhaps he/she/it doesn't have the means to buy groceries let alone access to a hot plate. We should be more sympathetic with those living in the DTES, particularly those without means to necessary medication (Silky). He/she/it may be homeless and is crying for help by posting all this nonsense. Maybe Silky will be hit by the Batmobile on Hastings Street. I hope not.

Professional or not I admire those that work with their hands and on their feet all day. Lord knows most of us do not have the physical endurance to stand in a hot funky kitchen all day. So LAG, I would say you should not put them down like that. I doubt whether you could take a day or 2 of that work.

From age 17-20 i worked at A & W standing all day as a assistant manager. But that was over 18 years ago and probably cant do that today since im so out of shape:(
