St. Pauls hospital has rapid HIV tests now, as well as the HIM clinic on Davie which is for gay dudes but they dont make you prove youre gay haha. I've been in a couple times for the test and was really impressed with their program.

The service is free - funded by the taxpayer. You don't even have to have a BC Health Card because the government does not want any barriers to testing - a good idea. I went last summer and will go again this week, just for the peace of mind.
