Not sure if there are any Sikh members here, but does anyone know how turban wearers deal with itchiness when it's hot and they sweat?

i actually attend a seek temple. Im christian...... although i enjoy the chanting from the priest upstairs in the prayer room. You never seem them bothered by them. When its a cultural thing that you practice and nearly everyday i might add !! you become used to any negatives that might surround the practice. I do not know how they deal with itchiness or sweatiness, im guessing perhapps the same way a caucasion man deals with his sweat and itchy's in his tighty witey's, or how a woman deals with sweaty bum cracks and g strings riding up.
scratch ???

Yeah - well watch Sikh labourers in the hot sun and they never seem to scratch their heads. Their hair is also tightly wound in the turban and would increase the heat and sweat.

Chanting ??? I've never been to a Sikh Temple that has chanting, however they do have somebody that reads from their holy book on a 24/7/365 basis. They'll sit and read right through weddings, funerals or whatever else may be going on at the time.

Ever go just for lunch or dinner ? They serve free food daily, strictly vegetarian and anybody can go. Crazy at weddings sometimes, everybody in the area shows up, invited or not, white or brown, everybody eats.
