Hi there fine ladies and gentlemen.

Although, the number of no-show or last minutes cancelations is not a lot, it still bothers me when it happens.

I'm sure it is widely shared "common courtesy" to cancel ANY appointment regardless who you are making an appointment with... Lawyer, doctors, dentists, girlfriend, acupuncture, or whatever... And escorts are not exempt from those list as we are professionals.

I usually ask for a confirmation call for an hour before, and tried to make it clear that I need a quick phone call if you need to reschedule or cancel, preferably hours before.

I also notice those who give me their phone number do not bail on me.

I prefer to have phone numbers of my clients.
I will not call you, and I assure for that.
But for building my "no-show list", it helps me.....

Some established SP required phone number of you when booking.

Question: does that discourage men to book an escort if you have to I've out your phone number?

There are some sp who have email communication only. Something i dont deal with cause of no show and you never know what's going to happen.

Speaking for myself, giving you my phone number when I book is not an issue. Most guys however probably prefer not to and many have a phone just for this "hobby." The confirmation call and hour or so before the appointment is probably a good idea, but be flexible not everybody can make the call on the dot. We had one provider here that was a fanatic about the issue to the point that a lot of the gents gave up on her.

Same here. I don't answer calls from blocked numbers and I require confirmation call. There will always be the odd no-show or last minute cancellation but that's life. But these will keep them to a minimum IMO.

Not to be rude or anything but how long did you have to study in order to become a professional escort and thereby make mention of your "profession" along with the professions of medicine, law and dental, etc.? Did you have to do research in order to become an escort? If so, how much? And did you have to take an entrance exam? If so, how many? Were you required to join a regulatory body? If so, is it self-regulating? Does this regulatory body require dues? If so, how much? At any rate, I hope you get the point.

As for the question of "professional", my own definition of "professional" is anyone who exchange their skills/service with some forms of monetary value. Anyone who is making their life out of offering their time, skills, and knowledge.
By this definition, buskers are professionals, waitresses are professionas, professors are professionals.... No one should underestimate and degrade people because of their occupation. I expect guys to pay same amount of respect to escorts as you do to lowers or doctors.

I think that you are awfully abrasive to come across like this when this lady was simply trying to ask of our clients what they feel is an acceptable and comfortable process in booking.
It is no more acceptable for you to waste my time than it is for me to waste yours.

Having said that, IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LOSE, IT IS SIMPLY RUDE AND UNACCEPTABLE TO DO THAT TO SOMEBODY!
As far as professionalism is concerned, we are expected to honor our appointments, as any professional would. We answer phones , screen clients, sell the services we offer,book appointments, reschedule or cancel bookings, given that opportunity. It takes a long time to learn how to effectively handle ourselves on the telephone.
Then there is advertising and upkeep of our websites. This can take up hours a day of our time, if we want to keep things fresh and new, to keep our clients old and new interested in our ads. All of these things REQUIRE SOME AMOUNT OF SKILL.
We have to ensure our incall locations are clean, laundry done, fresh towels, face cloths, sheets etc and are stocked with what we require, ready for each and every booking.
We also have personal care that we must maintain,
It takes someone with a lot of life skills, interpersonal skills and many OTHER SKILLS that are not taught in a university environment, to be good at what we do. Poise, grace and the ability to intermingle with many different types of people are also required. In my eyes, a professional is someone who's talents, whatever they may be, are sought after and have value, creating a viable business for that person or group of people, for that matter.

So, I am sorry if you do not value what we ladies do and feel we are professionals. I wonder if you appreciate the service you do get when you get it.......perhaps you are just a NO SHOW...... that would explain a lot.
Maybe there is room for one quote here................"They don't call it the oldest PROFESSION in the world for nothing!!!!!"

Considering yourselves professionals and putting yourselves in the same light as doctors, lawyers and dentists, etc. is a good example of the dumbing down of society of which you SPs (the ones who commented) are an example.
