The reason Christians who follow His teachings do less is because it really is a sacrifice and hard price to persevere.

Actually God DOES demand his followers to act a certain way or did you not read the book? (New not old Testament) You're typical of those who continually try to invent God in their own image instead of trying to ascend to His and that's ok too. I made specific choices about what I WANT to believe and I'm perfectly willing to pay if I'm wrong.
