Hello last week I received a bbbj from a SP, which lasted only about 4 minutes until I told her to stop. Now I don't know if I am paranoid or what but I was doing some reading and it seems that the risk of std from bbbj is significantly high. It has only been 7 days from when I received the bbbj but I dont know if I am being paranoid or if I caught something. So far I have absolutely no symptoms. When I pee there is absolutely no pain and there is no discharge that is supposedly supposed to happen if u contract an std. The only things which are happening to me is i feel a little tingling at the tip of my penis. I don't know if it is a sign that I may have contracted something or am I just paranoid after doing a lot of reading on bbbjs.

Hi geahgeah

There are a few STI that can pass with a bbbj. This doesn’t mean you will get an STI if you receive a bbbj it just means there is a chance an STI can be passed if the person has one in their throat.

It sounds like you are worried about receiving the bbbj. This can really play on your mind to the point that every normal sensation you feel in the penis gets you concerned. I find that if someone is not concerned about a risk they do not even notice these normal feeling, itches etc…

The only problem is that most STI in the penis do not show any symptoms or can be slight and come and go. Given this I would just suggest that you come in after 2 weeks for a STI test. A negative test result can give great peace of mind. If symptoms do develop e.g. feel itch inside penis, discharge, hurts when you pee come in straight away. It would also be a good idea to avoid sex until you get your test

Here is a link to recommended tests.

It also sounds like you did something that made you feel uncomfortable. I see this often in the clinic were someone does a sexual act that makes them worried soon after they have finished. Everyone has a different level of risk tolerance. Here is some information about this.
