So here's the deal. I met with a regular lady I've been seeing on and off over the last 5 years. We actually stopped seeing each other or a couple of years and only recently (ie 5th time) started seeing each other again. But the funny thing is the level of intimacy is out of this world. You have discovered what is probably the most dangerous hazard of this whole activity. That level of intimacy is something people usually only share with someone they deeply love. Maybe it's reading too much between the lines but I suspect from what you wrote and how your wrote it that the two of you are actually very close emotionally. The caressing, the touching; these are actions we more often associate with a close loving relationship. Intercourse, especially in this context, is viewed as simply a shared pleasure.
Perhaps I'm doing a bit too much projecting but I think I understand what you're going through. As the intimacy between you two has deepened, the relationship seems less and less like a client/SP relationship and more like two people sharing a very private part of themselves with someone they have real feelings for. Perhaps sex is reminding you that this is a client/SP relationship and in the context of what else is happening, that reminder injects a negative dose of reality.
