I am considering moving back to BC and throwing my toupee into the ring as the PERB candidate. Do I have the full backing of members of this board.

Yep, it will be back to business as usual after the next election. The Libs will get a new presentable leader, and all faults of the entire party will be blamed successfully on Campbell. The current default front-runner position of the NDP will be squandered, due to the utter inability of the party or Carole James to articulate or get across an alternate message of why anyone should vote for them.

Not likely, besides Carol James would have to quit first.

The only people that would please are those who would like to see a dedicated bike lane on every highway in the province.

He may be going but the party will win the next election.
It would not win with him at the wheel.
A good move for the Liberal party.
Nobody in their right mind would or could ever think about voting NDP after how they neared bankrupt the province and all businesses and investors left the place shaking heads. Will be interesting who throws the hat in ....I,m thinking Pamela Goldsmith , westvans mayor. She is respected and smart and has been yakking it up.

It was pretty much the only move the liberals could do....as a whole the liberal party was responsible but Campbell was the leader and thusly the sacrificial lamb. The only way the NDP could win the next election is if the liberals sent BC down the toilet as badly as the NDP did.

First of all, it's not Campbell's nor the Liberals' fault. Second of all, Campbell did ask Harper for help. Campbell and the Liberals had never thought about HST. Smart people know this is the fallout of the Harper government! If NDP leads BC, then we are way worst than before economically!
Like Campbell said, "when it comes to bigger issues, people in Canada tend to move backward instead of forward." Meaning, they don't wanna resolve these issues in a good way.

So are you saying it's neither Campbell's nor the Liberals' fault that during the 2009 election campaign they stated it wasn't on their radar and then in July of the same year they announced its implementation without any consultation whatsoever? Are you saying it's Harper's fault that Campbell and the Liberals accepted a $1.6 billion bribe to implement the HST?

Between the legs of a HOT SP!!
Not sure if you title was spelled like that on purpose, but if it was, hilarious!!

When I first read the title, I though Ignatieff had finally packed it in.
Would have been his smartest move since coming back to Canada form his homeland.
