I like City Bakery here in Calgary in Bridgeland....good quality product and the production area is A+ clean from my direct observations....recently I have come across Manuel Latruwe Pasteries bu the place seems over priced....they have a display case for the fancy desserts and they all cost $6.50 each.....$6.50 for a napoleaon slice is expensive in my mindset....he Bakery on Richmond Rd and 37st SW is also very good...nice selection and excellent product and quite reasonable prices.

The best cake shop,IMHO, is undoubtedly La Favourite, 11401-95st. When Wayne Gretsky got married, they made his wedding cake.

a good one is handy bakery on 118ave. the area is ehh, but the european treats (particularly the custard tarts!!) make the trip worthwhile. they are actually pretty good pricewise too.

I agree with the crappy quality of Bee-Bell. expensive and not very good at all.
I like some of Cobbs stuff, but it too is pretty expensive.

I might have not have sampled as much places as everyone else but, the Garden Bakery at 10019 106 Ave, is my favorite, I love their mini fruit tarts, and coincidently it's also my favorite Chinese restaurant, only thing is the scary neighborhood and almost losing one of the side skirts off my car, after hitting a boulder in the side alley.

My favourite bakery/cafe in Edmonton has to be Wild Earth on 99th St. (around 89th Ave.) They have the best whole wheat cinnamon buns, and their savory croissants are also excellent.

With me being American, will my ceremony be cursed if I serve Danish wedding cookies?

Umm.........Yes, try Oreo's. That will go much better with your Pringles anyway.
